From 5 accommodations that we had ( same level from price and offer), this one was at least 1 level higher! - very very clean! - the owners were always there to help ( even got us discounts to other stuff around- like massages ) - the breakfast had everything! Best coffee, awesome food - dinner was also really tasty - the tuktuk driver took us everywhere, managed to get us best prices wherever we wanted to go - we extended our stay because we felt so good here

It’s perfect.

This is a deluxe hilltop retreat for those looking for a gold-star service at an affordable price. A lot of love and thought has gone into the presentation of this accommodation, making it a very memorable stay. Colonial history enthusiasts as well as nature-lovers will enjoy their stay here, and the staff are exceptionally pleasant. The food is of very high quality, the decor luxurious and the a/c rooms comfortable.

We stayed 3 nights. The staff was super friendly and supportive. The restaurant was also good and clean. The food was delicious and the breakfast was really filling and worth the money. We used the pool and the gaming area too. Great stay!

The rooms are clean with comfortable beds. The dining area and terrace has incredible views. The place is peaceful without a lot of traffic noise. The staff was incredibly attentive. Sri Lankan food was delicious.

It was one of our best accommadations in Sri Lanka. We were able to enjoy the impressive view in the suite from both the bedroom and bathroom thanks to the large panoramic windows. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. They gave us a lot of tips. The breakfest and the dinner was very delicious. We can also reccomend a tuk tuk tour, which the hotel offers. We had two exciting and relaxing days in Kandy.

Absolutely nothing, everything was perfect!

What to say, this accomodation is really exceptional. Not only are the rooms 100% clean and spacious, but the staff is just so welcoming, warm and friendly. The pool is very refreshing with the hot weather. The breakfast was very diverse every day and there was something for every taste. We also had our dinners here which was very tasty, I highly recommend to try it! The dinner with the view on the sunset over the mountains is just stunning. The location is also amazing, a few minutes from the city center but also quiet with beautiful views on the mountains. We got so much help by the owners with my injured leg and they treated me like family. It was a pleasure staying in the castle and I would give 10 stars if I could. Thank you for everything.

If I could give a review 11 a would! This was such a pleasant stay. The owners and all the employees are so warm and welcoming, always asking us how are we and if they can do anything for us. The location is perfect, just a 10-minute drive from the city centre, a bit uphill so you have a beautiful view of the lush green hills. My son had a birthday and they prepared a lovely celebration and cake and even gave him a small gift. He will remember it forever. They have a nice and refreshing pool and loads of games (billiard, picado, board games) - the kids didn't want to leave the place. I am so glad we booked this place because it was definitely one of the best in Sri Lanka. And food was delicious too!

We found nothing to complain about.

The relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Our rooms exceeded our expectations. The meals were excellent and cooked to our liking. The children enjoyed the play park and the pool. The view from the restaurant was stunning, especially sunset. The location was a short ride from the Temple of the Tooth.

Nothing I didn’t like

The breakfast and food in general here was great there is a lovely menu - all Freshly cooked - the chef let me watch him cook our dinner one evening - amazing . We are in Sri Lanka for 20 days after waiting 23 years to come and if I knew what I know I would start and finish at the castle - we were supposed to stay 2 nights only but had to extent our stay here. Koshali and her husband who own this place make the stay so memorable in this amazing cultural and fun city. They speak perfect English having lived there and are able to explain so much I didn’t know . To see a little of Kandy - you could spend a lot longer here - they can help and explain . They have a local tick Tuk driver - come part time actor - who can sort everything . If you require something they don’t have someone will get it for you.

This place is beautiful, the family who run it are so lovely, warm and welcoming! We had a lovely stay here, really good location and the staff are always to help. They went above and beyond to make are stay perfect.

There were a few parts of the hotel that could have been tidier, including the baby pool part of the pool which needed to be cleaned more thoroughly.

The staff were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble, including preparing a special breakfast and cake for our son’s birthday. The rooms were very clean. The view of Kandy/the mountains was spectacular. Our kids also liked the little play area.

An amazing place to stay. Easily reachable by Tuk TuK; a place to enjoy the nature and escape the city noise :) Everyone is more than friendly and is showing respectful attitude. Viswha won our hearts though! A great guy with a good heart who made our stay in Kandy incredible!
