The hanging bed was not very comfortable, because you wake up from each movement of the other person in the bed. The host was a bit annoying, especially when we informed, about decission to leave and not to stay for another night.

The meal at $15 USD per person is quite expensive, you might arrange your own on the way if you were trying to save money, however the meal we had was really delicious.

Absolutely stunning view! Very comfortable (hanging) bed. Really high quality finishes throughout the room. The food was delicious. Inthizar the host was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Dinner was delicious.

- the location is just outstanding… the view from balcony is another level… this is a place to get relaxation.. unfortunately we could stay only for one day but highly recommended for a longer stay… the design of house is modern cum traditional with a hanging bed which gives slight swings and provide you a comfort to sleep… the highlight is chef - we had lunch, dinner and breakfast with them and the portion was big and lot of varieties…the owner Inthizar and butler Amjad both took care of all our needs and took us to a small hike nearby for a nice view… highly recommend to stay at the cloud resorts

Everything about the property is BREATHTAKING. The views are like nothing I have seen before, exceptional! the room was very clean and decorated beautifully, the food was amazing, breakfast and dinner were perfect, served with fresh juice and fruits. The calmness and the stunning nature is indescribable. Really a bucket list experience! Special thanks to Inthizar and the staff there, absolutely fantastic, 5 star hotel treatment.

This Resort is just a dream! Inthizar takes care of everything and everyone and is just the nicest person out there. With all his heart and passion he hosts you along your stay and makes everything possible. He even picked us up from the train station and organized our journey to Negombo. The Cloud Resort offers you a lot of silence and an unforgettable experience. It is slightly outside from Kandy but definitely worth a visit. We hope to come back sometime! Until then we keep this time very close to our hearts- Thank you Inthizar for creating this magical place and being so lovely!

The welcome from the staff was incredible, friendly and helpful. The accommodation is a match for the breathtaking views you see from your room. World class views and very difficult to beat. The secluded location made this ideal for a great rest and break away, while having an amazing view from bed, kitchen, deck etc. Close enough to many other attractions in Kandy and the area and a good base to explore wider. We both arrived a little bit ill, but the staff and owner himself went out of their way to make everything comfortable and helped as much as they could...even making special meals and drinks to help recovery. Food served in the room, warm and tasty all the time. A great hidden gem, especially if you want a more local experience and staying away from the big resort hustle and bustle.

The location was perfect! It was away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Our view from the villa was stunning!!! We were truly in the clouds. Our host Muhsin made us feel like family. He answered all our questions and acted as our tour guide. It was relaxing and the food was amazing! The on site chef cooked us authentic Sri Lankan meals daily! I would highly recommend this resort and we plan to return!!

Amazing location with the great view from the apartment. Food was also delicious and customised to our preferences. Most of all, our host Inthizar was very helpful, he showed us around and shared some interesting stories about Sri Lanka. We left the place with great memories, I strongly recommend to spend there at least few days during your trip around the island.

A truly amazing place to stay. Exceeded our expectations. The property is great and the views are out of this world. Inthizar and his team made us so welcome, preparing special dishes for the children and the most wonderful barbecue in the evening. If you get a chance do the walk to watch the sunset you won’t regret it. The sunrise in the morning was equally stunning. One of the best places we have stayed, will definitely return.
