We really loved staying here! The bathroom was incredible with the palm tree in the middle and you could hear monkeys and birds in the trees above. The room size is also really big and has everything you need. Excellent location. The family are the loveliest people and super welcoming :) would 100% come back here.

Great place to stay. Short walk from the beach in quieter part of town. Hosts are very nice and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Monkeys in the morning and evening on the mango tree in front of the room!

Nothing everything was perfect

The location was great only five minutes to the beach and close to a lot of restaurants. In the morning we could observe some monkeys in the garden next to it. The owner and family was super friendly and attentive. He helped us with all our questions we had regarding our travel as well as giving us suggestions for where to eat. Tipp: if you’re there try out the lemon grass cafe she the healthy resource food & drink restaurant :)

Super spacious room with nice AC and a very large and comfy bed. The host is also super friendly, hé offered us a nice new year breakfast with a lot of local snacks. He is also helpful with tips where to do your laundry etc. The place is a bit outside of the the bars in Hiri, but the first nice café is right around the corner.

Great homestay im Hiriketiya. The family that runs it is super sweet and even cooked us a delicious breakfast on our last day. The rooms are big and clean and are very good value for money. Would definitely recommend staying here.

The room is exactly like on the pictures, beautiful. You can have breakfast by the room or walk a few stairs up for an even more stunning view from a commonly shared terrace. The room has just been built, so as of January 24, it’s brand new

There are only 4 rooms so it’s not the most social place for solo travellers, but I would stay there again regardless.

I stayed at the Ed Corner for over a week, because a friend already had a room booked there. I could check in on short notice and even got a welcome drink. When we left. Kamila the host invited us for a homemade breakfast, which was amazing! I recommend this place 10/10!

Great location, close to restaurants and the beach. Really friendly staff who were able to organise a car to Ella for me at the very last minute. Room was lovely and clean - mosquito net was also very appreciated. The private terrace for each room was lovely

I loved everything about the ED corner! It is a little paradise in hiri. The host Kamila and his wife and beautiful family are so welcoming and helpful. They made a beautiful breakfast for you in the garden and helped with restaurant recommendations and even dropped me off to the bus station in his car. I only booked 2 nights but extended for over a week in the end as I just couldn't leave it was such a lovely place. Spacious and clean room. Hot shower. Quite at night. Thank you!!!

We booked very last minute and the owners were super friendly and accommodating and had our room ready really quickly. Really close to a lot of restaurants so we had plenty of choices for dinner. Room was really big, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. Thank you so much!!

We had an amazing homestay. We booked 2 rooms for the 3 of us. They were spacious, super clean and very convenient. The owner was the most helpful ever - arranging for broken boots and a ripped backpack to be repaired and suggesting brilliant local visits. Highly recommended.

Just 10 out of 10. The room is spacious enough, comfortable and very clean. With hot water and a fridge. Also you have some nice private space outside as a terrace and a small garden. The place is great located, only a few minutes walk to the beach, restaurants and shops. The owner and his family are amazing always making sure you have everything you need. Their hospitality is incredible. We even had a welcoming Sri-Lankan breakfast and dinner during our staying. Could not recommend this place more highly. We would definitely stay here again.

Located in the village it's naturally not really quiet at night.. Room upstairs is nice and spacious enough, but a little warm in the afternoon - fan roo.m. Wifi not working. Quite a walk to dickwella Beach. Anything else I can recommend.

Very newish modern rooms, clean and comfortable, upstairs room with balcony and view into a tree.. Welcoming owner kamila even hung up a Moskitonet net for me. Not too far from surfing beach.. Got a coconut as welcome drink :)

Everything was good

One of the best place where I stayed in Sri Lanka. Location was good, not so far away from surf spot and near from a lot of restaurants. Very comfortable, cozy, small garden where you can have tea, rest and speak with friends. Hospitality was the best, i felt myself like im home or visited my friends. Really enjoyed with my staying there and if I come back i will definitely stay there. Highly recommends

We were completely satisfied with our rest in this beautiful place, thanks to our great host Kamila. He paid attention to us and treated us so well. Thanks to him for a great traditional Sri Lankan dinner he arranged one day and some snacks for breakfast. Also Kamila recommend some nice places to see and helped us with luggage. We are 3 friends and we occupied almost the whole hotel, it has 4 rooms in 2 floors. It was nice garden area in front of our rooms where we could have dinner and work. The location is close to the ocean Hiriketiya beach, where there are a surf spot with perfect waves and a place for swimming. Several nice restaurants, one grocery store and a fruit stand are located very close to the hotel.

Kamada and his family could not have been more kind and helpful, finding medicine when one of us was ill, giving us little treats of fresh cashew nuts, mangoes and cakes. Perfect rooms, delicious breakfasts, a quiet setting with beautiful jungle garden featuring monkeys stealing mangoes. A very short walk from the beach and a stones throw away from some great restaurants and shops. Could not recommend more highly.
