We spent a three lovely nights in The Grand Hills Hotel. The hotel is located on the top of.the hill offering you breathtaking view. Hotel is located only few minutes from a City Centre, You will find here great stuff, happy to help you in fullfilling your needs like transport. We were 9 prs group and Hotel manager organised us perfect transport to the city and later to our next destination. Rooms are big, comfrortable and clean. Don't forget to swim in a pool with the most amazing view ❤️👍. I really recommend this place. ❤️

Breakfast options could have been better. For the vegetarian people like us, only sandwiches with jam and fruits was available.

Location is good, if someone likes to stay up on the mountains. Good, quiet location. Staff was very polite and helpful.

My wife and me enjoyed the magnificent view from our balcony. The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially the head of the staff. They gave us an additional towel on request and sent our clothes to local laundry. We spent 9 days in the hotel and found a lot of things to do: tracking in the beautiful mountains, Tea Museum that used to be a tea factory with 100 years history. Birds park is a small but interesting place where you can feed parrots. The city center is about 4 kilometers, so you can use Tuktuk

The hotel is one the highest placed in Kandy and has a great view of the mountains. Morning views are therapeutic. Mr James was in contact with us prior to our stay to ensure we needed anything. Great gesture Rooms were spacious with a great view. Pool was clean and hotel was well maintained Breakfast was delicious and we were served welcome drinks from the sweetest mangoes All the staff were extremely attentive and caring A perfect place to unwind

A tranquil getaway nestled in the hillside above Kandy. Our room was spacious ,clean and well equipped. Balcony was overlooking the distant mountains . Wow ! What a view ! Hotel's amazing staff took great care of us , arranged tuktuks and had great advice on things to see and do. Loved the pool , clean and beautiful . The surroundings and the atmosphere were amazing . We saw a lot of wildlife . A great place to stay and have a peaceful time .

We stayed in a Deluxe Double Room with balcony and mountain view. which was spacious and offered a great view from the balcony. The outdoor area, including a clean and inviting pool, was well-maintained. The hotel boasts beautiful scenery, perfect for enjoying both sunsets and sunrises. The restaurant was charming, with outstanding food and service, and the live band in the evening added a nice touch. The staff was friendly and attentive, making our stay even better. Breakfast was delicious, and it was a treat to start the day in the beautiful garden. We highly recommend staying at this hotel if you're in the Kandy area! will definitely come back. wishes you all the very best grand hills.

After confirming the booking well in advance, they’ve call me and informed that room that I booked wasn’t available and they direct me to another hotel just few hours before I arrived to the hotel. They arrange the other hotel (bit far from city and less access to taxi) for the same cost but that hotel cost less if I’ve booked directly with them. I’m really disappointed how they manage it. Left me with no option as it was last moment advise and I was on the way to hotel.

Overall, we had a great experience at The grand hills Kandy. clean, and perfect. You can see Hanthana Mountain Range from the rooms. Food is delicious Worth the money. We only booked here for a one day, but when checking out we all thought we should have booked the place for few more days. It is a beautiful place with beautiful views. Rooms are clean & well maintained. There is a amazing pool with mountain view. Staff is really friendly & polite. Food was also good. Hoping to vist agaoin highly recommend.

This is a cosy, charming & friendly place in the hill capital Kandy. Just a short drive from the city centre, it's nested on one side of overlooking the Hanthana mountains range We loved staying in the Grand Hills hotel. Perfect place to relax and enjoy the stunning view at the mountains. Nice pool. Good wifi, breakfast & dinner delicious. beautiful Garden. Excellent service. bedroom, bathroom private balcony spotless clean. Definitely our best stay in Sri Lanka.

THE GRAND HILLS was absolutely amazing. The hotel itself was extremely well maintained, clean and had everything you could possibly want. The first time you drive up the road it is extremely hair raising but totally worth it for the view and calm once you’re at the hotel. Waking up to that view is something that will be hard to forget. it was so beautiful. you can see the birds from your balcony and it's so relaxing to see monkeys and different birds flying around your balcony The rooms are beautiful with mountain view's with private balcony and we enjoyed the tasty breakfast and dinner. The staff is very kind and helpful. thanks for all your help for memorable stay. we will definitely come back highly recommended.

Such a lovely hotel and great value for money! Rooms had an amazing view of the jungle and the pool was so refreshing! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, especially the manager Charminder who was kind enough to take us on a walk to a Buddhist monastery near the hotel. Quite possibly the comfiest bed in Sri Lanka! It’s a ten minute tuk tuk into Kandy and the hotel can organise this for you. Really nice to spend our last three nights here in the hills. Very quiet and peaceful yet can head into Kandy very easily. Fresh fruit for breakfast was lovely.

Highly recommend it ! A bit of a climb but once I reached there , I couldn't believe my eyes . The view from this hotel up in the Hnthana mountain range is insane .Surrounded by nature, it's so peaceful and the views are just out of this world. Perfect spot for a tired traveller to chill. everything about this place is spot on. The rooms are spotless clean , and the staff? We give them a big thumbs up ! They're super friendly, always ready to help, and the manager is a real legend. He tried his best to get us train tickets to Ella, but when that didn't work out, he sorted us out with a taxi for a decent price. Thank you for your kindness Mr. Manager ! And the breakfast ? Colourful and yummy sums it up. Local tea, coffee, and those fresh fruits ....mmm ..... absolute winners ! We only had a day in Kandy, and we're kicking ourselves for not staying longer in this dreamy place. No doubt, we're planning to swing by again next year.
