We especially liked Nuwan‘s and his family‘s kindness and hospitality, he had so many tips and recommendations for the region for us… he basically arranged and organized our whole trip (ride to and walk to the peak of pidurangula rock, ride to the Mineriya safari park and seeing some elephants close by, ayurveda massage and village tour with a katamaran and a local cooking class - we had an amazing time). He took us everywhere with his tuk tuk and even showed us some special places (a rock with a great view at the sunset and some bird watching). He served us great local breakfast and dinner in the evening and always offered us more. The memories will always stay wirh us and we keep Nuwan and his lovely family in our hearts and wish him all the best.

We can just confirm everything in the other kind comments! We never had such good service on our trip before. The rooms are clean and new, the garden is pretty and you can grab delicious roseapples directly from the tree. Although the property is close to a bigger road and there is no AC (not yet) we could sleep perfectly in the spacious beds. Go with Nuwan to the little tours he offers and you will discover parts of the real Sri Lanka, that no other tourists will ever see. Also, he gives you good advices and tries to save you from tourist traps. Booking here is a good option to support a little local family and to get the maximum out of your stay in Sri Lanka. We wish Nuwan and his family all the best!

It's like a butterfly park in the garden it's amazing to see. Lovely family who run the hotel they can help you arrange anything you request. The room is spacious and very clean. The beds are super comfy, would recommend anybody staying here!

Everything was perfect. The best room we had in Sri Lanka so far. Everything was very clean. Nuwan is a very nice person, offered help in anytime we needed and provided great tips. The breakfast was amazing too, cooked by the Nuwan wife, who is also a very helpful person.

Beautiful stay, very nice host! He showed us to his beautiful secret places. On the first night he showed us a beautiful spot to watch the sunset, and on the second night he took us to a lake to go birdwatching (see pictures). In between, he took us anywhere else we wanted to be at any time, greatest service we've expirienced so far! Additional positive point: delicious homemade food whenever you feel like it!

Best room we had in Sri Lanka so far. Spacious bathroom with great (hot) shower. Room was spacious as well. Nice terrace with hammock in the garden. The owner is really caring and provided great tips and breakfast.

The place is super clean, modern, very comfortable. What makes this place even better is the host, he is super kind, and will give you the best advices around the area. He also have a tuk tuk and can drive you around if you need. There are large mosquito nets above the bed so you can sleep peacefully, the sheets smell good, there is a very welcoming atmosphere

We spent 3 nights at the Green jungle and it exceeded our expectations. The rooms were immaculate and extra spacious and so was the bathroom. The 2 rooms for guests are in an independent building with patio and tables for meals and drinks. The service was fantastic. Nothing was too much for Nuan. He has his own tuk tuk so he took us and fetched us from Dambulla cave tempkes and showed us some off the beaten track places. I read about Dambulla itself that it is nothing special as a town, abd was wondering whether it would be better to choose Sigirya as a base. It wouldnt. Dambulla is logistically better and The Green jungle is perfect as the bus stops to/from Sigirya, Polonaruwa, Kandy, Colombo etc are all 100 metres away. The estate is in a jungle setting and you can have fresh coconuts and fruit growing in the property. Also we ended up having dinner in the property by the family every evening as it was delicious and Dambulla town couldnt offer better. Wifi was great. The family was lovely, the service great and it was fantadtic value for money.

We really enjoy our stay here!! Its just excelent, the room and the bathroom are so big, modern and clean! The room is in the middle of a beautiful green park. Also, nuwan and his family are very very nice and they are trying all the time to make sure you are ok. Nuwan took us to a beautiful place to see the Sunset. You can have dinner / Launch here and is very good!! Thanks for everything!! 😀

Nuwan is a very nice person. He shew us lot of beautiful places you can’t find on the internet. The rooms are very clean. His wife cook for us - it was perfect, with all Sri Lanka traditional food.

The rooms were great, very clean and nice, nice bathrooms as well. The host, Nuwan, is lovely and so helpful with everything. He drove us with his tuk tuk whenever we needed to go somewhere, he helped us with booking activities and showed us some hidden gems we never would have seen without him. They served us homemade breakfast and dinner aswell. For breakfast we were served fruit that had grown in their lovely garden. Nuwan showed us a temple on the hill with amazing view for the sunset, some monkeys also visited us there. There were no other tourists there, only some local people, so we wouldn’t have found it without him. After that he took us to a real hidden gem, out in the nature where there were hundreds of big bats flying over us, such an amazing experience. All thanks to Nuwan.

The property has a really nice and big terrace looking at an amazing jungle garden! Very good location easy near by all the ancient sites. It was overall clean and confortable. It’s a good value for your money.

The electricity during our stay was not stable enough.

Nuwan was very nice and offered help all the time. The environment with tropical plants in the garden were very pleasant and beautiful , we liked it very much. It is nice to read a book on the balcony quitely. The breakfast with own planted fruit was also good.

Rooms were really beautiful and clean. The host was very friendly and helpful. Location is perfect, only few steps away from bus station and in the middle between Sigirya and Dambulla, which is perfect to easily reach both of them by bus. Around property is also a lot of greenery so it has been really nice to stay there 😊

Amazing experience. We have stayed justo for two nights, but we would definitely stayed there for longer if we had the chance. The guest and his family were ncredibly polite and was available for us anytime. Big, cozy rooms. Amazing garden right in front of the bedroom that looked like an actual jungle. Delicious breakfast and coconuts taken right from the garden's tree! The guest has also guided us not only through the main spots (Temple Caves, Pidurangala...) but also through less known places thatafe us fall in love with the village. You will not be disappointed!

Everything was perfect! Nuwan and his family were so accommodating. He took us to a festival and shopping when we needed some home comforts. He also organised all our tours and activities when he was unable to take us. On one night, his mother in law cooked us the most delicious meal - highly recommend! The room was large and spacious and we were so well looked after. Very underpriced for the service you receive - DEFINITELY STAY HERE!
