For both of us, we enjoyed the stay. There is nothing to complain about. But there were some small insects on their corridor, but they were not in the rooms luckily.The problem was if we are using corridor we had to quickly ran and closed the door without putting lights since they are coming becuase of light. They said its because of rain. Hope next time they come up with a solution for that. Other than that, all good.

Rooms are very clean. All the equipment is new. They are very flexible with arrival and departure time. The food was very delicious. We are planning to visit this place again. Walking distance to Nuwara Lake. There is a nice place to have a safe bath. Staff is very friendly. You have two entrances for the room. One key is electronic card. One is the old method key.

Lots of bugs in and around the room. Maybe the problem is the nearby lake but in no other hotel in Sri Lanka did I see so many mosquitoes.

Good location if coming by train or bus, and good value for money for a short stay. Highlight was the lovely staff member who helped to arrange a tuk tuk driver for our trip around the sacred city and also helped us communicate with a taxi driver after we’d left a valuable in their car!

It's on the main street and could be loud sometimes. The windows are quite small and facing the parking so it was quite dark in the room as we had the curtains shut for privacy. The ac was drying but not cooling much, which was not an issue for us but may be for some.

The staff were all really nice and the rooms are clean. Location is close to everything but it's not on the lake, which we were expecting but this is our bad for not researching. If you come with a car, they have parking spots. We took the bus. The bus station as well as the railway station are just 10-15min walk.

Really nice cozy boutique hotel in a great location for visiting the temples and walking around the town. The service is awesome and the food more than perfect, with huge portions and wonderful chef. I would repeat experience no doubt.

We stayed only one night here for a short visit to the temples. The facility is really modern with great and quiet aircon, comfy bed and modern bath. The staff was nice and helped us with catching our bus by preparing a quick meal before departure and ordering a TukTuk. They prepared delicious Sri Lankan curry.

A very minimalistic room, with all you need, the guys at the reception were really nice, they booked for us a tour of the ancient city by tuk tuk and a taxi to sigiriya.

Mahinda and the staff at the Ivy Lake were flawless in their service. Very accommodating and very pleasant. The room was very clean and modern and the value for money was outstanding. Would stay here again if I return to Anudhapura.

Due to a tightly packed schedule and the need to attend a religious event on time, I was only able to stay at the hotel for a short period, resting for approximately 7-8 hours. I would like to commend the staff for their exceptional assistance during my stay. They not only provided me with an early check-in option but also went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and convenience. This gesture was tremendously helpful and greatly appreciated, considering my time-sensitive commitments. Once again, I thank them for their outstanding service. I will definitely consider staying at your hotel again in the future and will recommend it to others as well.
