Hosts were very friendly and helpful, room was lovely, smelled really fresh when we arrived. Breakfast was delicious. (Avocado, sausages, eggs). Location was great, by the lake, very short walk to town.

The location on Google maps is quite inaccurate leading us to struggle to find the location

The room was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a very long delay on the train and arrived well after midnight. We were very warmly welcomed and helped. We decided to stay another night and unfortunately all rooms here were booked so we moved to a new inn only 100m down the road under the same owner called the classic lake round (not yet on Google). This was equally good in quality but slightly cheaper. Many thanks to our host Sunil who was very kind and welcoming Location was also perfect

The hotel was up on a small hill, so if you have luggage you will go up by car or tok tok and for the daily walks you will hike up and down, its not hard but still it's not like walking in a straight level street

The location was fantastic. Just a 5-10 min walk from town and around the lake. The breakfast was superb. I ate half in the morning and left the fruits for dinner.

The location is great, close to the beautiful lake, but far enough from the Main Street so that it’s calm! 10 min walking distance to restaurants. The rooms were clean and got everything we needed. Would recommend & stay here again when visiting Kandy! :)

It’s near the lake out of the bustling city centre but you don’t have to walk all the way up the hill so it makes it very convenient.

The location was great, 5/10 minutes to the city centre along the lakeside. Staff were helpful and answered any questions we had. The room was very comfortable and great value for money.

The short stretch of road leading up to the hotel was dimly illuminated. Advisable to use handphone torch or a separate one if walking back from town at night.

It’s just off the main road, via a 100m or so incline road from the junction. Small peaceful single storey building partially hidden from gate entrance but sufficiently signposted. Less than 10mins easy walk to the town centre. Friendly and helpful staff - Madhu and Petti always around to help with any enquiries. They also serve good breakfast upon request- check their photo-menu.

The biggest drawback in this guest house is the noise from the other rooms and also the lobby. The first night only few other guests were there and it was ok but the second night the guest house filled up and it got really noisy. Also, could be a bit cleaner.

Simple guest house, but very new with (for this price) good bathroom. Great location, near the lake, 10 min along the lake to the city center, tooth temple and so on. The owners and staff are super friendly young Sri Lankans, who help you with your travel plans and gave me the best tip on how to get reservation tickets for the crowded train to Ela (without using the black market!).

Unfortunately the walls are very thin so you can literally hear anything happening in the other rooms, it’s not nice. There is no fridge in the room. The view from the room is not the lake and neither a nice garden.

It’s inside a courtyard that looks pretty old but their building behind looks new. The room is basic but clean with ac and all you need for a night. The staff is friendly and helpful.
