Small, cozy hotel in calm location, on the sandy beach. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good facilities, except so so Wifi. Great breakfast and overall good food options on site in the restaurant. Surfers paradise. Restaurants near by and 3 km walk on the beach is a plus.

The beach wasn’t very pleasant it was really dirty and littered which was a shame as we booked the hotel for the beachfront location and then didn’t use the beach.

The rooms, pool and the garden were lovely so clean and relaxing. Breakfast was great soo much food and they did a lovely takeaway breakfast for when we had to leave early one morning.

Amazing place just at the very clean an almost secret surfspot. 3 small beach restaurants also just next to it with great food and 2 surfststaons for board rental or courses. Staff ultra friendly.

The Seascape is in an amazing location just at the beach. The team is super professional with attention to detail and super warm and friendly at the same time, which is a rare experience. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely book it again. Especially their Sri Lankan food is amazing and there are also beach restaurants next door, that are excellent. The place is perfect for surfing or a beach holiday and to watch an amazing sunset. They also clean the beach in front of the hotel regularly, which is nice. There are rooms on the top floor and on the ground floor. The ground floor room is practical, since you just need a few steps to the beach, the top floor rooms might have nicer views and a bit more privacy.

The hotel staff is super helpful! Unfortunately, I can't give you the names, but they were all very hospitable! always smiled and tried to make our stay as cozy as at home! We stayed in this hotel for five days, the hotel staff suggested which landmark nearby we should visit, suggested where there are good beaches! There is actually nowhere to walk near the hotel (only along the seashore), but we were always called a tuk-tuk and we went to the nearest city to the supermarket or for dinner! Most of all, we liked the fact that we were the only guests in the hotel during the entire period! Super clean pool! Delicious and plentiful breakfasts with ocean views! They were met at the airport with a sign and very carefully brought to the hotel! we have got a lot of useful information about our further trip around the island!

There isn’t a lot within walking distance of the hotel, but very easy to get around by tuktuk. Approx 20mins from mirissa.

The breakfasts are outstanding so please ask for a Sri Lankan breakfast which is out of this world !! Truly amazing The rooms are clean and comfortable. Pool area and bar area are lovely too and the staff are so welcoming.

This property is the most amazing place, and I am so grateful to all the staff who made my trip super special. From the moment I arrived nothing was too much trouble. I like to sit in the beach so every morning they arrange the lounger for me. The staff also arranged a tuk tuk driver for me who was outstanding and as a solo traveller I felt so safe but also grateful for everything over the 5 days. We visited some amazing places that will stay in my memory forever!

The hotel was amazing and had a great location - close to the beach. The rooms were super clean, had a great ocean view and smelled really nice. The pool was very clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious.

The location was one-of-a-kind, incredible view through palm trees onto the beautiful beach. Very calm neighbourhood. The pool is large, beautiful and very clean. It is partially shaded by the building after noon, which is perfect if you are swimming with little ones to prevent sunburn. The staff is very lovely and helpful! If you are up for more than your average toast&butter, ask for Sri Lankan breakfast (in the morning) or for Sri Lankan Curry for dinner. The rooms are spotlessly clean. If you stay for more than a few days, you might miss some features like space or even hooks to store your wardrobe which are common in that price range. But these are just little things that do not really reduce the unique experience of staying here. There are free surfboards at the hotel, but they could use a little maintenance. There is a surf rent and guide right next to the place on the beach, so this is not an issue.

The location was excellent for our needs - located close to Matara town and situated on a private road with good privacy and security and a splendid balcony view of the sea . The staff at Seascape were very hospitable, friendly, punctual, and trustworthy which is the most memorable highlights. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, spacious, and had decent amenities (reading lights, air conditioning, desk, kettle, safe vault, wardrobe). Although located near the beach, you can still get a good-nights sleep as the roar of the sea is less noticeable once you close the balcony door. The Seascape also offers dining, particularly breakfast. We had both continental and local breakfast items which were freshly prepared!
