One of the best places of Sri Lanka in my opinion. Quiet location,near to Mirissa beaching restaurants. Super clean rooms with good air conditioning. The place has a very calm and soothing energy, very friendly staff

It was like stepping into paradise. It was a dream to stay there and I wish we stayed longer. It was our favourite place in Sri Lanka. Staff: The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The main guy who helped us throughout our stay (Marahinda) was truly lovely. Room: Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated. They cleaned our room every day and folded our towels differently (with elephants and bears) with fresh flowers. We used to get excited to see what we'd have each day! It was a lovely touch. Pool: The pool was so peaceful and always super clean. They'd leave towels on all the sunbeds and it was never busy. You mostly had the pool to yourselves. It was true luxury and peacefulness. The garden was stunning too with lots of exotic plants and mango trees. Facilities: we thought they were brilliant. They also had filtered tap water for us to drink, instead of paying lots of money on bottled water. Spa: Definitely make use of their spa next-door. It's the best massage you'll ever have - book in before it fills us! Location: It's not a long walk to the main seafront. Don't be put off by the location of the long road - it's quirky and off the beaten track. They thought of everything. I'm already hoping to go back again soon!

Beautiful property, very clean and spacious with a lovely pool and garden area. A peaceful retreat just a short walk from the beach and lots of bars and restaurants. Staff were very attentive. Would 100% recommend if staying in Mirissa.

Nothing it was perfect

What a beautiful guesthouse, the property is lovely and so much better than shown in pictures. The pool is lovely and comfortable Sun loungers and sitting areas around the pool. Pool towels are given. We had a room with a patio which was just perfect. The staff are super welcoming and friendly. Washing done and returned the following day for a great price. Would highly highly recommend this guest house. We would definitely return.

The hosts were great, we celebrated our anniversary and they decorated our room and brought a cake for us! We loved our stay here, it was a fantastic room and very tranquil with a great pool. It was also very useful having a water filter tap to use throughout our stay. Great location with only a 3min walk to the beach and 5mins to central mirissa. Couldn’t recommend it enough.

This place is amazing. Nice and quiet but still close to everything. We had a very big beautiful room with a balcony with lovely views of the surroundings. Very nice pool with sunbeds. Most of the time there were no other guests so we had our own private pool :) Best value for money we had in all of Sri Lanka.

Literally everything here is perfect! The service is very kind, the pool absolutely amazing and the room is great! The best place we have stayed in throughout our entire 3-week Sri Lanka trip. The location is great as all hot spots are in walking distance. Honestly can’t recommend this place enough! We stayed for three nights but we would have extended if it had been possible to adjust our itinerary. 10 out of 10!!

Peaceful stay in a good location, not far from the main beach but off the main road. The garden and swimming pool were great, with lots of wildlife to watch too. The room was excellent and clean. We liked the option of coffee delivery and we tried the spa which was heavenly. Has a kitchen and filtered water tap.

It’d get great to be able to pay by card

This was the best place I’ve stayed at in Sri Lanka. It’s clean and tastefully decorated. Staff are friendly and helpful. There’s no breakfast but there’s a shared kitchen guests can use and a small fridge and kettle in the room too. You can also order breakfast delivery from a nearby restaurant via WhatsApp. There’s A/C and a fan. The pool is clean and pleasant. It takes 5 minutes to get onto the main road and 2 more to the beach. The location is quiet and surrounded by greenery. I’d definitely stay again!

Beautiful place! This was paradise, just a short walk away from the beach, but hidden enough that you get peace and quiet and enjoy the sounds of the jungle! Amazing pool and our room was just beautiful, with a great balcony! They don’t serve food but plenty of places around to get food or even order in! And a shared kitchen which makes things easy to prepare your own food Definitely recommend and would stay here again!

The place is wonderful. It has a great atmosphere. The hotel also has a spa which I highly recommend using, the massage was fantastic. The hotel room and bathroom were very clean, as were the surroundings and the swimming pool. The room had everything we needed. Very nice and helpful staff.

Everything great

The Secret guesthouse went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. They really didn’t fail at anything at all. From perfect rooms, to guesthouse facilities like community kitchen, laundry service… the rooms where the cleanest we had in 2 weeks in Sri Lanka, and the bathroom was one of the best. We thought we didn’t have hot water and after all we were turning the shower the wrong way and still they came very fast to help us. They have an excellent spa that smells amazing and we had the best massages there. Not only they let us check out later to get our massages stress free, but also kept our luggage the whole day and at the end of it they even let us shower in their facilities before a long drive. Lastly, they also arrange us tuktuk rides at a low price. If we return to mirissa we will definitely come back to this place!
