Wonderful place. The hotel is located on a mountain, with a unique and amazing view from balcony. Very kind owner, always ready to help, provided us assistance with tuk-tuk during the rain. Extremely clean room, big and warm. Nice and tasty Sri Lankan breakfast, lots of fruit and fresh coffee. We are very grateful for the warm welcome, we will definitely come back again.

I wished that the room had a mini fridge, but that wasn't a big issue, since you can keep your food/beverages in common area fridge. Otherwise everything was spotless.

The location is perfect! The view from the room balcony is breathtaking! The host was a really good guy. Breakfast has varieties of local and English food, fruits and coffee or tea, all very tasty!

If there were any mini fridge facility in the room then it might help. We traveled there in very hot summer & we struggled to find chilling water. Also I believe that if I asked to the stuffs, they will arrange it for us as well. Also location is not in central Kandy. So, transportation problem will be obvious.

The view from the hotel is spectacular. Also the stuffs were very helpful & friendly. They guided us to visit different places in Kandy. Also they arrange vehicle for dropping us at Peradenia Railway Station which is quite far from the hotel with a good deal.

No wardrobes but it was ok for a night's stay

Amazing view from the balcony. Very scenic. Beautiful at night. Breakfast was very good. The owner is the best host we have ever found in our entire stay in SriLanka. If we travel again to SriLanka, this would be the one place I would love to stay. Also would recommend anyone travelling to Srilanka to stay here. Great value for the money

The water pressure was low, barely enough to take a shower.

The room was clean and the view of the Kandy City was very good! We also loved the breakfast served by the host, who was very kind. The AC was adequate.

We liked everything during our stay!

Quiet location up the hill with incredible views just on a 15 mins tuktuk drive from the city centre. The host was very welcoming and helped us organising tuktuks and advised what things to do/see. Also made us a delicious breakfast every morning. We stayed in the deluxe room, which has amazing views over the city and surroundings, from the bedroom and balcony and even from the shower. Absolutely stunning!

The bedroom is large, comfortable and clean. The bathroom has a great view. The view from the balcony is amazing and the accommodation is far away from the noisy city centre. The host books tuk tuk for you at a fair price to the city centre of Kandy or to other places you want to see. Delicious breakfast with a nice view. They have a cute cat :)

Booking messenger pre arrival didnt work out

Our stay at the SkyDeck Kandy was good. We had a warm welcome, got a big size room with a huge bathroom. The hotel is on a hill away from the busy city center but still reachable via tuktuk in 10 minutes. When having breakfast on the terrass you overlook the valley.

The water pressure was very low. Had issues washing my hair Very far up the hill and PickMe works only so-so edpecially to and from train station, but the host helped me find one.

The hosts were very welcoming. We had a great breakfast each morning. They helped us with tuk tuks and helped us know what to do in Kandy. We had brilliant views and enjoyed the area we stayed in. Close enough to Kandy but outside of the main busy town. The rooms were decorated very well and it was very clean.

Our room was on the small side. But it was comfortable.

Great hillside aspect with a grandstand view of Kandy. We loved the city lights scene after dark. We enjoyed the breeze in our faces from our balcony and from the terrace. The breakfast was well presented and punctual. The host Asita was helpful and kind.

Big room, nice neighborhood. Amazing view of the town. Comfortable chairs on balcony. Comfortable bed. Really clean and stylish room and bathroom. The most beautiful bathroom in Sri Lanka with view on the town (not sure if every room has this) Great breakfast. We have stayed in some very run down places in Sri Lanka. This is not one of them, this place is really well maintained. Owner takes very good care of the rooms and will help you with anything needed. Definitely recommend.

Best and cleanest hotel so far in Sri Lanka . Amazing value for money . Balcony has amazing views over kandy very peaceful . Breakfast balcony also has a great view . Need tuk tuk into city about 10 mins hotel will arrange for you around 500rs hardly anything. You can pick your breakfast time and it’s very big and tasty . Bathroom is nicer than bathrooms in the uk shower all glass overlooking the city. Best so far ! The owner also arranged for us our train tickets which we cannot thank him enough for this we had incredible seats for a very good price.
