For the price, this was a great place. Quiet, clean, with lots of nice details such as a bookshelf with books that had been left, a sitting area in the shade with flowers, and an iced coffee upon arrival. The rooftop was great for checking the state of the ocean (I’m a surfer) and the Sri Lankan breakfast was fantastic and healthy. More than anything the young family that own and run the two rooms are adorable, honest and helpful!

Maybe the bed... For me it was a little short because it has the wooden "thing" at the end (but I am quiet tall) and the mattress was a little to hard for me. But these are very small complaints.

For this price you can not expect a 4 star Hotel, but as a Homestay for this price there's nothing to complain. The couple who runs that place is absolutely lovely! They serve a good and big breakfast plus pancakes in the afternoon. And when we were out when it started to rain, they came down and closed the raincover of our tuktuk. Small things like that made us really appreciate this place. The location is good as well, you only have to cross the street and you're right at Parrot Rock.

Nothing really - there is not much of a sea view from the room but there is from the roof.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. There were different power sockets for charging devices and the wifi code was clearly displayed. The property is very close to the beach and restaurants, next to the main road but far enough away so that it is quiet. I was welcomed with a drink (my friend joined later) and we were then given pancakes which was really nice. The breakfast is good.

A fantastic stay at this accomodation. The family were very friendly and welcoming, always smiling and made sure everything was in order, providing a brilliant service. Breakfast was huge and always planned around you, they provide a laundry service for a very reasonable fee which was done the same day (perfect) and the room was very clean, prepared on time and was very comfortable and spacious, with everything working as it should. It's located just next to the main beach, and in easy walking distance from the beach bars, but is set back off the main street so it's nice and quiet at night. Highly recommended

This property is a big 10 for few reasons. Room is quite big and clean. Owners devotion is out this world. Best srilankan breakfast so far. They have laundry service and it's great price. When we came back from beach everything waited for us clean. U get maximum for a 20$ Support local people.

The hosts are very kind and they will feed you with all kind of delicious meals. We took the room with the AC in it which is a must in south sri lanka. Room is clean and the bed is comfortable. Location is excellent, 3-5 minutes from the most beautiful beaches we seen in Sri Lanka. Highly recommended, but really choose the room with the Air conditioner.

You may expect it looks better. But you never expect how hospitable this guys are. They really want to be sure that you feel good at your vacation.

Small hotel with just two numbers. Nice and silent. 1 minute walking to the beach. Family who works there are the friendliest people I ever met in Sri Lanka. I came at early morning (matched it on Booking) and easily checked in. Breakfasts are super. Also in the evening they made a pancake with chocolate and some smoothie.

Not a positive or negative, but no a/c. Did have a big ceiling fan and ground fan for the bed so we weren't actually hot. Other than that, no complaints

Friendliest woman of all time runs this accommodation. I can't recommend staying here enough. Smack dab in the middle of Mirissa, right across the street from the main beach, but the other breaks aren't too far away. The rooftop view of the place is beautiful and that is where you eat the best, locally made Sri-Lankan breakfast of all time. So much food and everything was soooooo good. Room was neat and large with a large, nice bathroom.

A brilliant location across the road from the main Mirissa beach. A clean, spacious, room with good AC. But most of all the host was so kind & generous to us, making us breakfast at 5.15am before a whale watching trip, and making us pancakes unexpectedly in the afternoon. Thank you!

Good sized room, 1min walk from the beach and all the beachside restaurants. The best part about our stay here was the lovely lady who owns the guesthouse. She made the hugest, most delicious breakfasts and every afternoon we got a knock at the door and there she was with chocolate banana pancakes and coffee! Such a spoil!

The best place to stay in Sri Lanka so far. Incredibly hospitable hosts, always smiling and ready to help. Every day they treated us to fresh juices and fruits, tea and pancakes for dinner. Breakfasts on the roof overlooking the ocean were delicious! The beach, shops and numerous cafes are within walking distance; also laundry service is available in the guesthouse. Highly recommend:)

It was perfect!

Best place to stay in Mirissa! The room is the perfect size with a comfortable bed. There's a little lounge space just outside the room for meals and chill time. But the true heart of this place is the hosts and their delicious meals!! They are so kind and their daughter is the cutest. They fed us so well and nothing beats a private rooftop, table for two, breakfast with the sound of waves and a view of the ocean! We really appreciated our stay here and would highly recommend!

The bed was not the most comfortable. Not a real problem to us though.

The owners were extremely friendly and offered us the best juices and pancakes as a surprise. Very grateful! The breakfast was plenty and also very delicious. The room was large and clean. We liked the table and the large mosquito net. Altogether very good experience!

The location is great, parrot rock and the beach is across the road, and the main strip of shops and restaurants are a 2 minute walk. The hosts are amazing! They are so attentive always there to help you, they arranged a scooter for us to rent and advised us of our bus for our onward journey. The breakfast is EXCEPTIONAL. It is the best food we have had in Sri Lanka an we have travelled most of the country. It is better than restaurants we have eaten in and it is included in the cost of the room! On top of this when we nipped back to the room in the afternoons we were given fresh fruit smoothies, and in the evenings we were sometimes given food free of charge, again beautiful food. They really are the nicest hosts, I cannot recommend it highly enough, you NEED to stay here!

The room is nice and clean and there’s an accessible rooftop with a view of the ocean. But what really took us away was the couple running the place who were so sweet, helpful and accommodating. They both served an amazing, huge breakfast and surprised us with a variety of snacks and drinks during our stay. We had a lovely time here.
