WiFi is pretty weak there, so can’t really work from there or plan next steps, but to be honest it didn’t seem like a problem as it gives you more headspace to disconnect and enjoy the amazing jungle vibe. The best are super close to each other and there is not much space in the room to move around, but you will be barely there, so shouldn’t be an issue and I had great roomies, so we just felt cozy.

Absolutely amazing experience staying with Tree House. The hosts are super friendly and have jt all planned for you. Every day you have different activities offered, where you can enjoy Sigiriya and make good friends. The breakfast is included and every day you will get a different delicious meal. Amazing environment and very close to main activities.

Bathroom could be cleaner. Be aware that the location is far from town and bus stop (30-40 min walk or Tuk Tuk).

Amazing food (especially breakfast), nice host and staff. Hostel is very social and the beds in the tree houses are comfy. A very special and lovely accomodation!

The bathroom of our dorm wasn't great: the sink got clogged twice, and the toilette didn't flush most of the time

The staff was great, offered a bunch of activities to enjoy and explore the area (sunrise/sunset hikes, safari, visit to the cave temple in Dambulla) Social connections where also encouraged. Nice common area with games, music, drinks, etc

Really lovely staff, great location in the middle of the jungle, very comfortable bed (they have a new building since a couple of weeks ago), nice area to mingle and play games, excellent food, free activities, great environment.

The wifi wasn’t great but it added to the experience as everyone was very social. The rooms had no curtains so you will be woken up by the natural light, but these things didn’t bother me personally. Some better wifi would be handy due to the need to book your next accomodation but can be solved by leaving the hostel and getting 4g in town etc

Lovely social hostel with very friendly staff, the best breakfast and comfortable rooms! Organised trips to the lake, a sunset spot and a small fee for the sunrise trip to Pidurangala rock. Amazing location in the middle of nature, so very quiet and felt very peaceful.

As the first Indonesian guest was staying at Tree House Hostel Sigiriya, i really so happy. Everything about this place was FANTASTIC. The staff were incredibly friendly, extremely helpful. Especially Gayomi and her husband (the owner) are wonderfull with a gold heart. They went above and beyond to make sure. The breakfast and dinner was amazing and the room was cozy and cute with a mosquite net. A lovely atmosphere and this hostel is a good way to meet people to go on tours with. it's in a great location which is in the middle of jungle and close to Pidurangala Rock. Definitely, love to come back again and stay longer! Love, Dianra 🇮🇩

Staying in tree house hostel in the middle of the jungle was a completely different experience. The staff were very helpful, and the food was great! They even let us help prepare dinner with them in the kitchen. We did the safari at ecopark, and it was the best experience ever. I 100% recommend staying here.

Perfect hostel if you want a special jungle experience! The host family and staff are all so lovely and helpful, you really feel that they love their job and their hostel. They help with any issue you might have, the food and drinks are delicious, they help you plan any activities there. Highly recommend to stay there if you visit Sigiriya!!

This is one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever stayed and the staff are so kind, helpful and friendly. Such a lovely place to stay and be at one with nature. We did two sunrise hikes up to Pidurangala and Lion rock which they will drop you off at in the dark. They also organised an incredible safari trip for us to go and see elephants, and rented us bikes to explore the area. They will also prepare handmade food for your breakfast and dinner if wanted. The food is so so good, they cater well to different diets too. The vibe they have created at their hostel is extremely sociable and this is a great place to make new friends too. Generally all around lovely hosts who will go above and beyond to make your stay extra special

Breakfast and Dinner were amazing, one of the best food we had in Sri Lanka. They made sure that all guests ate together. Organized sunrise and sunset hikes as well as Tuk-Tuks, Safaris etc. Nice hangout area with pool, chess and couches. The tree house rooms were awesome. The guests were amazing, easy to make friends (to travel with). It was so good we prolonged our stay which was no problem for them.

The staff is amazing, very lovely and fun! The hostel organizes trips to the rocks or Safari Tours. You will definitley meet great backpacker colleagues at this place and enjoy their company a lot! Definitely recommend this place!!

Nothing to complain about but if you’re after a western meal, let them know with plenty of notice. All the food is made from scratch so can take some time :)

Beautiful location in the jungle of sigiriya, staff were unbelievably kind and helpful and offer to assist with pretty much everything, from daily activities or travel to your next location. Food was also unreal and huge portions. They’ve also just got a new coffee machine serving up awesome caffeinated beverages!

they charge quite a lot for driving you somewhere but it’s easy to rent a scooter or something. laundry is really expensive compared to other places i’ve stayed in

it’s very easy to meet people! we had a great time - went on a safari, multiple hikes, drove around the area with scooters and went for a swim in lakes. the food was delicious and i liked the community dinner in the evening
