What an Oasis - only 4 villas and so quiet. Very attentive staff with free Tuk Tuk ride to the beach. Beautiful swimming pool and lovely comfy beds - wish we could have stayed longer to explore the area more so cant comment on that but we took the Tuk Tuk to the beach and then walked back and it was an easy walk.

We spent an incredible stay in this hotel for two nights. The staff is really kind and warm. The rooms are beautiful with amazing outside bathrooms. They offer a free Tuk Tuk ride to go to the beach which is a really nice service. 🛺 We highly recommend to go to this hotel if you go to Bentota! Thanks Upul and all the team! 🤗🇱🇰

A small resort with 5 or 6 little bungalows surrounding a pool The rooms were lovely and clean with 2 big comfy beds and a veranda with swing and table chairs, was lovely to sit on and enjoy a drink The bathroom was outdoor, perfectly clean with everything you needed It is about a 15 minute walk from the beach and town but they will drop you and pick you up in their tuk tuk for free, though we got charged each time !!!!!!!!! Friendly staff with a small pool, though at times I felt like it was a staff party. Sadly this was in the sun all day and the undercover area was over cluttered with too much furniture and didn’t look inviting also with an annoying tv, it would have been nicer if furniture was strategically placed around the garden This by no means detracts from the nice newish hotel

Wonderful place with wonderful people. The cleanest place we have had during our stay in Sri Lanka. Each of the staff members seemed too good to be true. It was difficult to believe that all those people are so genuinely nice, but they were for sure. Highly highly recommend this place for everyone. In reality it looks exacly like in the pictures or even better.

We were driving our rented tuktuk from galle to negombo and decided to break the journey up in two days, so we spent one night here. And no regrets because this place was wonderful! The design of the area is peaceful and beautiful, the pool is well-kept without the overwhelming chlorine scent and the staff is friendly and helpful (when it rained they laid out umbrellas at our door!). It all made for a relaxing afternoon of lounging and swimming. The rooms are very clean and spacious, perfect ac and room climate. The bathroom deserves its own mention because there is a waterfall shower which feels luxerious and relaxing! We had dinner and breakfast here and both were very good. I loved the chicken and cheese kottu while my bf found the fish and chips tasty. The fries were thin and crispy! Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

This is a wonderful, exceptionally beautiful place to stay. A very relaxing environment, stylishly designed with tropical greenery, spotless rooms and amazingly luxurious bathrooms. It wasn't as accessible to get out and about by foot due to the location.

We loved this small resort. From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive - can't say enough about them. The villas had all you needed, and the bathrooms were gorgeous. We loved using the 'outdoor' showers and never had a problem with hot water access. As the resort is about a 20 min walk from the beach, they provide a free tuk tuk to take you between and will pick up as requested. Also assisting you leaving the resort for dinner, spa treatments, etc, and charging very fair prices for journeys chargeable.

A very nice and new complex of 6 bungalows with a blooming garden and a terrace, where excellent breakfasts and other food are served, as well as a nice and well-kept swimming pool. The rooms are large, nicely decorated, with a large bathroom and outdoor shower. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. A free tuktuk will take you to the beach whenever you want, as well as from the beach back to the hotel. They also have their own morning safari boat, on which we saw a lot of animals and magical mangroves. If you are headed to Bentota, book this hotel without hesitation!

I would make the hotel adults only.

The place is small but very charming, it feels you are in your private home. Pool is very refreshing and the small amount of chalets make it not noisy or crowded. Whole team is very friendly and the food is very fresh and healthy. Kavindu was very helpful and went above and beyond to make me feel confirtable.

Wow! What incredible service at Tree of Life. I was blown away by how dedicated and kind the staff were. We could communicate through WhatsApp before we arrived and they solved any problems we had. We had a sick child for this part of our stay and I was so relieved to be here as I felt we were so well looked after. Also loved the whole site, swimming at night with bats above and the luxurious outside shower.

Please be aware that this isn't a beachfront hotel and you will need to get a tuk tuk into main Bentota Town/beach. This isn't an issue as the hotel had a tuk tuk and will gladly take you.

Amazing rooms that feature a beautiful waterfall shower and open up to a wonderful communal pool. This small boutique Hotel is characterised by the wonderful staff who go out of their way to ensure your stay is the best it can possibly be. The small restaurant serves a varied menu of delicious food. The hotel has it's own three wheeler which is very convenient when looking for lifts into Bentota Town which is a 10-minute drive away.
