Location is a bit far away from city center. Sometimes challenging to arrive there but owner provide a free pick up tuk tuk at your departure and arrange all you need..

Place is really comfortable, nice and quiet. Swimming pool is really amazing to have to enjoy the stay when you stress out. The treated me outstanding.

Beautiful place, well maintained, luxurious, and spacious. The whole place is well maintained with a beautiful garden, and the interior decor is stunning. Unfortunately, we could not able to use the swimming pool, which is well maintained as well. The breakfast served is really impressive. The staff is so helpful with fulfilling our needs. Arranged laundry service for us which is very helpful.

The location is very remote and there is nothing reachable by foot. So not really recomendable for a short stay if only for travelling trough Kandy.

A nice hotel with very friendly and helpfull staff. Spacious room and good breakfast. We ate dinner there too which was decent. Also laundry service worked very well.

The room was so beautiful, spacious room with nice furnishing. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful nature, lots of different plant and trees. The pool area was a nice place to relax by in the warm days. We had dinner two days in a row at the hotel. They served local food and it was absolutely delicious. The best thing about veraima is the amazing staff. They are really helpful and kind. We would definitely come back to veraima again.

The property is cute and homely. My room was big with a balcony overlooking the pool and the bed was huge! All the staff are lovely, very helpful and friendly. The pool is small but lovely, I really enjoyed my morning swims. Excellent value for money. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful, the evening meals are tasty too. I highly recommend Veraima for your stay in Kandy. I'll definitely be back! Thanks for everything 🙏

Had a lil bit of trouble getting hot water for our shower but staff was helpful in finding a solution.

We loved everything. Very comfortable place to call home for a few days. Everyone was helpful and friendly and our breakfasts were delicious. Rooms were super clean and beds were extremely comfortable. Pool area was also very relaxing. I would highly recommend staying here.

We had an amazing 2 nights stay - had a warm welcome after arrival, staff was super friendly and helpful with everything we asked about - a private yoga lesson, train tickets, laundry etc.. their tuk-tuk driver Susantha who took us around, was also a nice and modest person. Very cosy hotel, with enjoyable shady restaurant surrounded by greenery and pleasant pool area. I especially appreciate a small, but for me important thing - usage of metal straws (instead of one-time plastic ones). Thank you again :)!

The breakfast consisted of fruits, omlette and coffee/tea and juice . They also provided us a welcome drink which was quite pleasant. The staff helped us book a train ticket waking up at 5 am and going to the train station. Extremely helpful and a great budget stay!

Wifi wasnt too great, but that’s about it. Just get a local SIM-card and you’ll be fine on 3/4g. Some might find the walk to Kandy city centre a little too long, but it wasnt too bad and gave us some fine looks of the lesser-known parts of town

Great owner who helped us get train tickets that were sold out everywhere, personnel that drove us to town by scooter to score some groceries, pool is beautiful, rooms were clean and the provided breakfast was great.

It is 40 minutes far by walking (with tuktuk takes only 5 minutes) but we appreciate it because the neighbourhood is very quiet and calm.

The rooms are cozy and clean, the breakfast was delicious and the pool, although we didn't use it a lot because it was cold, it was also clean. Also, the owner and workers are very friendly and always ready to help you. And they give tours for a very fair price! I would repeat there again (:

Bare in mind the WiFi is slow so if you’re planning to work remotely make sure you have a hotspot!

Naleke and Manju who run the place are so lovely. They helped us book train tickets to Ella and the cultural dance show. Gave us good recommendations for things to do around Kandy and also tips on how to stay safe and what to avoid. The breakfast was insane and the pool was a lovely way to relax after a long day! Would definitely visit again!

It was an amazing stay! We had a room upstairs, big and stylish, I loved everything about it. The host and the staff are awesome too; they were extremely helpful at times, nevertheless, not importunate. The food they serve is delicious and the swimming pool is great.
