The place could be run a bit better. Didn't receive complementary tea bags after the first day, the breaker for room lights kept tripping and the place could be kept a little cleaner altogether. The finesse room had not been cleaned in a while, there were even gecko droppings. The receptionist was not that welcoming when I checked in as well - not even a smile. It appeared I was interrupting a conversation she was having with another member of staff and was asked to wait while they talked. I had walked up to the hotel, which is on a hill, under the scorching tropical sun, only to be sidelined until someone else actually came and checked me in. My clothes were never picked up for laundry though Reception said she will arrange it.

Nice location and views. Food was ok and the room was large, while the bed was comfortable. The rooftop pool and bar were really nice.

I think this hotel could be amazing with better management and updating. Although we enjoyed our one night stay a few things were a little peculiar.. including only 4 sunbeds, the first items we ordered from the menu weren’t available, no beers at all available in the restaurant or anywhere in the hotel, the decor looked tired everywhere, hairdryer didn’t work, flickering lights and noisy air con, the gym equipment wasn’t the best.

The views were sensational. Loved the rooftop pool. A stunning place to relax in the sun with the breeze on you. Incredible view from the little gymnasium. The rooftop bar looked great but it wasn’t open. The monkeys in the trees outside our room’s huge windows were beautiful to watch.

This hotel is highly recommended. We spent 4 days here and felt we were in good hands. The rooms are spacious and modern. The bed is very comfortable. The staff are very friendly and try to fulfill all your wishes and always have a smile face.the food is great, tip curry. If there is something not on the menu, the staff don't hesitate and go to get it. The pool on the roof is large and you have an indescribable view all around. All in all, the hotel is worth a visit. Thanks for that nice time here

This was most likely a luxury place when it opened but I feel like it has not been looked after properly. An upfresh could do and the place could definitivly attract more guests if look and feel was better.

Only 2 remarks: the kitchen had no cutlery, pans or any tableware, so there was a kitchen but we coudn't use it if we want to. The other remark: there was a couch next to the kitchen that had stains and smelled badly. I suggest to take it off as there was another confortable and nice couch in the living room

Hotel on Kandy (barbie) - the views were amazing, great to see from the pool. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment which was nice with A/C on both bedrooms and living room.

The whole building was completely dirty. The “chill out zone” was completely abandoned. No possibility of ordering food/drinks. Only 3 sunbeds on the swimming pool with no shade in the whole “swimming pool area” with 33°. Wide variety of food for breakfast but with bugs in the restaurant tables.

We liked almost all, but some small things need imroving. For example, it is not possible to have dinner in the restaurant on the roof for ordinary guests, only if special order. So, this facility does not work to a full extent for hotel guests. The windows in our presidential suite were not clean enough, and the floor in the hotel wasn't also. There was no one in the swimming pool area to give towels after breakfast. The room keeper should explain something about room facilities.

First of all, we liked the panoramic roof and the swimming pool on the top. You can see all Kandy! The hotel is close to Udawatta Kelle Sanctuary, so we saw two hornbills on the palm tree very close, soaring eagles and monkeys. Our presidential suite was big enough with two separate bedrooms in different corners. The meal was tasty and served at time.The chef and helpers came each time and asked what we prefer. Sri Lankan coffee was strong and hot.

Food was not very good. Super spicy. Didn’t have lots of the things in the menu. Also, we found a cockroach in our room. Asked to remove it and when we got back to the hotel was still there. Comunication with the hotel before we arrive was very very hard. We asked for help with excursions and tickets for the train and they never replied.

Nothing stands out as very good, but the staff was helpfull and view is nice.

There are monkeys in the area and they pass the hotel, therefore you cannot sleep with the door open. The hotel should provide clear information on how to deal with the monkeys. The hotel wifi was unusually unstable and with fluctuating speed. In general, cleaning and tidying up in the common areas could be better. Finding old beer cans, empty ashtrays and wet towels on the roof terrace is not a plus.

We stayed here for 4 nights and were satisfied with the stay. The hotel is located approximately 3 km from the center of Kandy. A TukTuk typically costs 300-600 LKR into the city, you can use the hotel's own TukTuk driver. 450m down the road you will find both a greengrocer, grocer and baker. The staff acted polite and friendly. We really appreciated the large, clean room with the beautiful view and access to the terrace. The bathroom was clean and the shower excellent with hot water. There was air conditioning, fridge, kettle, TV and it all worked. The swimming pool on the roof terrace is excellent unfortunately there are only 3 sunbeds. The breakfast was adequate. You can choose between 3 menus on the dining menu, but unfortunately we could not choose the Sri Lankan breakfast on any of the days. If you stay overnight at View 360, you get value for your money, which is why they get our best recommendation.

Strangely, food options were quite limited for both dinner and breakfast (most options were unavailable from the menu). In addition, the room has a basic kitchen setup, but there are no basic cutlery to use (e.g., spoons, plates, glasses, etc) making it quite difficult to eat even take away.

Overall, View360 is a good option for a short stay. The rooms are quite spacious for at least 2-3 people and the place is clean. It is located uphill in Kandy, therefore, the view from the room is beautiful. The staff are polite and helpful.

Didn’t like an aggressive monkeys 🙈, they stole my coffee from the balcony in the morning.. I think it’s normal, when you stay in the jungle 😁, but still don’t like it. So don’t leave anything on the balcony, because they are active on light time, you can’t see them at dark, they come in the morning, so keep the balcony door closed!!

We liked the location, it provides really a view, they accept a card payment, WiFi was 6/10, room was clean, food was fine.

The location is a little bit difficult. You have to go by tuktuk to the center.

The place is beautiful and the view amazing. The view from the top of the hotel is just exceptional with the view from the infinite pool. The food was good I'm the restaurant and many option were given for the breakfast.

In my opinion, the general cleanliness of the hotel needs to improve a lot. We did mention this to the front desk and they said they would get it cleaned for us the next day whilst we were out but the room was the same. The room had been cleaned, however, the cleaner obviously doesn’t go out of her way as in corners, under windows, next to the column in the corner of the room was pretty dirty, there was spilt coffee in the corner on the floor next to the kettle, dead bugs and dust by the column and under the window and the terrace they hadn’t bothered to clean at all. The teapots used at breakfast all have stained spouts. Overall the stay here was OK, but I think they would do a lot better if they improved the level of higiene.

Good value for money (at the discounted rate we paid of 25€ per night, I can’t say I would have been happy paying more than Len that). The rooms are a nice size and have lovely views.
