Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Germany- Big mold stain in the room - bathroom floor wet, water dropped from the ceiling - alternative room was as bad as the first one and smaller, so we stayed on the first one - pictures are not fake but very positivly taken - mold in the fridge - most expensive and worst hotel on our trip - weird stains on the beds and pillows

Ukrainethe service is terrible unfortunately! we booked the hotel for three nights the staff never greets to the guests unless we greet them and not even smiling. until we checked out they never gave us occupied service even drinking water. Room cleaning is very poor and dirty linen with spots and hair. on arrival we asked them to change the bed linen of course they came and changed with some dirty linen again. in conclusion, there is no even a manager to talk. i think some needs to have look on this matter coz the guests do not get anything what they are paying for. one last thing that you can enjoy a very nice tea with ants hence you will get foc ants in sugar. Thanks

MaldivesView360 by its name explains everything, this hotel is located uphill and few minutes walk from city. This hotel is featured to have a 360 view of Kandy which is the signature of this hotel, rooftop pool will explain everything you get the best view of town in this place. Staffs are extremely well trained and their manager Mark helped us make our vacation even more enjoyable during our stay in Kandy by going beyond the scope and getting things done for my daughter’s birthday at Roof Top Bar. Best thing about the hotel is, it’s close to all excursion points and city center is reachable within minutes to explore Kandy City in and out, i would say this is the best view you could get from Kandy as it’s uphill and feature a 360 view from the hotel roof top pool and roof top bar and all other rooms as well, again rooms are huge we weren’t expecting it and we end-up leaving one empty because they don’t have rooms they literally have large family suite with kitchen, bathroom and living room in entire property and this is the perfect hotel for families and long stays intended to stay in Kandy.
