We came across this hotel by chance since we got late coming down from Colombo due to traffic. Even though it was late at night we still got a very warm welcome from the staff, we even got to light the oil lamp as a traditional welcome and a nice welcome drink. Since it was late we ordered food from the restaurant downstairs. They served us quickly knowing we were tired. The food was heavenly. The restaurant staff was very happy to serve us even at late night. The room was as expected in the photos very clean with a nice aroma and the bedding was amazing. We slept extremely well and feasted on a fabulous breakfast the next day. The outdoor dining is nice in the morning with the lake view. All the staff were all smiles throughout our stay. I was extremely happy that we were attended to by everyone there. I’m glad we came here all of a sudden with no prior plans but it was a fantastic experience.

I had a nice dinner in the restaurant along with a cold beer enjoying the view of the lake which was a pretty pleasant experience. Food was brilliant,service was very attentive. Room was fantastic with a nice bed and the view ofcourse stunning. Loved it will come back :)

Wonderful stay. A cozy boutique hotel with a beautiful lake front view. The food was really nice especially the breakfast had a beautiful spread. Outdoor dining is nice enjoying the lake view. Staff was very attentive and friendly right throughout my stay and the room was clean with a comfortable bed and with good amenities.

The hotel had a cozy atmosphere when we first entered and right throughout our stay exceeded our expectations. Dinner was absolutely amazing the F&B staff was very attentive looking into all our needs there is a nice outdoor dining space where we loved. Breakfast had a massive variety splendid. Rooms was big and really comfortable especially the bed. Would definitely be a joy to come back to this lovely hotel.

I didn't notice when booking that the hotel was on a main road. The floor of the room and the bathroom were a little dirty and the bathroom a little tired and run down. Wifi was very slow.

The staff were amazing, wonderfully polite and helpful. Truly Sri Lankan people are some of the nicest I have ever met. Breakfast included a lovely juice and fruit platter.

This was my first time in the Kandy city and this hotel gave me a lasting impression . From the warm welcome to the cozy room with the fantastic bed all exceeded my expectations. Room was clean there was a good fragrance all over the hotel. The breakfast was brilliant. Definitely a must try. Everybody contributed to making my stay a memorable one. Will definitely be back for the beautiful views and the exceptional hospitality.

The property is very tired and not so clean. Lots of mosquitos in my room. The bathroom and room itself were OK but you can see lots of wear and tear and age. Because you're so close to the lake, the noise was a lot. There was an ice cream tuk tuk outside that played the same tune over and over all day. The stairs are all wood so it's noisy with got traffic outside the room door. Not so peaceful. The air con is very loud and the window at the top of the door means there's light shining into the room all night.

Hotel is central beside the lake. Staff are friendly.

If you are on a wheel chair, there is no lift to get to upper floor rooms. The bathroom needs to upgrades 😔

Television in the room didn't work and the curtains didn't fully cover the window. Would have been nice to have some sort of net/privacy curtain as if you had the main drawn the house next door could see right into the room.

The couch in the room wasn't the most comfortable, but the bed was great. The AC leaked water onto the desk. If we hadn't packed our bag the night before, it could have been a catastrophe, but thankfully nothing was damaged.

Big, well equipped room with a view of the lake. Easy walk to the Temple of the Tooth. Wifi was very good, among the best we had in Sri Lanka. The food at the restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. The room was a bit more expensive than many of the other places we've stayed in Sri Lanka, but it was well worth it and an incredible value.

The room wasn't clean ( dust) and the bed sheets, towels and pillows were full of yellow stains. Noisy hotel in general, plus some people took a room to make a party and WE really had to insist to get the staff go UP and say something. We gave our laundry and got it back quick but still wet! Very expensive hotel.

The staff tried to do their best but nothing corresponded to the supposed standards of the hotel. Good location though, 10 minutes walk from the temple of the tooth.

The location is very convenient. Close proximity to many touristic attractions in Kandy. Delicious food with variety. The milk rice and banana bread a must try. The staff, Mr. Wasantha, Palitha and Nevile went out of their way to make our stay a pleasant experience
