The homestay is very close to sigriya rock. The rooms have a great view as well. Hosts were very sweet and hospitality was great. Overall we had a great experience of stay.

I loved Abdullah and the family. They prepared the best breakfast and dinner. Don’t try to eat outside, if you want to eat authentic Sri Lanka food!! The room was in front of the rice field, breakfast was served on top with an amazing view over Sigiriya Rock. I enjoyed the whole stay there. Thank you!!

The only thing we didn't like was having to leave! There is nothing to improve, it is perfect.

A fantastic location, looking over rice fields to Lion Rock. Angele and Madu are the best hosts and their beautiful family made us feel at home. Great Sri Lankan breakfast, different each day. Tasty dinners, enjoyed in the garden. We have travelled for many years in Asia and our room, with its stunning views, was clearly one of the best and the service, with friendly smiles, completed the perfect place for us.

I cannot explain how amazing this place is to stay - what a beautiful family and home! I am so grateful for the kindness they showed me and making me laugh. Madhu cooks amazing fresh food using vegetables from the garden and Aluvihare was so kind taking me on his bike with my bags. There is great AC, water available and the rooms are really clean. Stunning view from the roof as you eat breakfast. Thank you so much miss you ☺️

There is no fridge but the room is such a cheap price, it was to be expected.

My girlfriend and I had a fantastic time at Water Guest. We arrived in the evening, freshened up with a nice shower, and enjoyed a delicious dinner there. The meal consisted of a generous and delicious portion of rice and curry, accompanied by our choice of cold drinks. Our host even arranged an early morning tuk-tuk roundtrip for us to witness the sunrise at Pidurangala rock the next day. When we came back from Pidurangala, we had a very nice breakfast on top the tower with views to the Lion's Rock, Pidurangala Rock, and the surrounding rice fields. Overall, it was an amazing experience that I highly recommend to everyone!

Great view and very nice host family! They invited us to join there Singhales New Year with their family, that was so special and great to experience. Food was good, both breakfast and dinner. They have cold drinks at the house you can ask for a fair price.

The breakfast was served at the top of the tower/rooms with an amazing view of Lions Rock. The breakfast was served beautifully and very tasty traditional Sri Lankan breakfast. The hosts could not of done more for us during our short stay and treat you as family. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

A wonderful place with a view of Sigiriya. wonderful hosts who spent a lot of attention to us and introduced Sinhala music for us. The rooms are clean, you will find everything you might need in them. Breakfast is very good, authentic, on a wonderful terrace. The best place to stay in Sri Lanka. Good luck to you!

Amazing view from the top and nature around, calm place and no loud noises at night. Many birds around. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, supported us in organising trips around the area. Having to leave.

We loved everything about our stay here… Anjula and Madhu greeted us like family on arrival and they looked after us our whole stay. The room was spacious, the food (breakfast and dinner) was incredible! And the views - of Pidurangula and Lions Rock- were spectacular from the rooftop cafe area. We loved all the little details like the breakfast being pulled up on a rope to us on the rooftop terrace. Anjula even organized some cricket to be played, he showed us how to get, cut and drink the coconuts from the garden trees and the family even put on some music / singing for us after dinner. We were very sad to leave.

Fantastic view of Lion Rock and Pidurangula and a most welcoming and hospitable family running this lovely accommodation. Great breakfast served on the open upper terrace and dinner excellent.

Keep in mind that one of the three rooms is on the ground level so without balcony view. However, you can chill on the rooftop.

The host is a friendly guy who really does a good job in keeping you happy. From arrival you feel welcome. He loves to show his garden with coconuts and to play music or cricket with guests. The room has a nice view on the Lion Rock and some chairs to relax and enjoy the view. Room and bathroom are functional and simple. Price quality is good. They can also cook at home for dinner which was great.

This accommodation was super nice in terms of view, hospitality and a great family as hosts that are willing to show you the in & outs of the Sri Lankan Cousine. Their son showed us how cricket is being played and also some cultural aspects are being shared. Also very helpful with arranging transport and provide help, when I was getting sick. So I can recommend this guesthouse every time!

Everything was great.

The guesthouse is amazing and probably has the best view from the balcony in the area. The host is incredibly nice and ready to help you with anything you need. He and his family are doing everything so you can feel welcome. The breakfast and dinner were delicious!
