The staff is one of the most polite, caring, welcoming group of people i’ve ever met. They will assist you with anything you need and will make your feel like the most special guest in the hotel. Comfortable bed, huge bathroom, good view, amazing facilities, tasty breakfast, great pools & beach front with sun beds, amazing spa and the hotel and the room smell so so good and clean. I just fell in love with the hotel, seriously couldn’t leave.

-No staff to accompany luggages when checking out though the staff helped in everything when checking in. -Checkin time is too late and no place for late checkouts

We mistakenly booked a room with minibar that can be refilled, which cost us 90 dollars more than a room without this option. When we wanted to change to a regular room they told us to do it through booking .com, in which we couldn't find the option to change the room. Eventually we paid so much money for only four bottles of juice( which we didn't drink). But this is not their fault- they were obligated to the booking . com policy .

A beautiful resort, right on the weligama beach. Each guest has the pleasure of having a personal assistant who cares for your needs. Rooms are spacious and very clean with beautiful sea views. Food was Amazing!!! But the best thing are the staff members who do everything in their power to make your holiday an unforgettable experience.

The food ordered at the pool side is not overpriced but since you pay 21% taxes and a delivery fee, it becomes over expensive. Feels like you have to spend too much money for food and drinks on top of an already high hotel room price.

The evening buffet was amazing but if you just wanted one small dish and nothing else, you still had to pay the full price. My family were eager to try as the restaurant next door (Cutty Sark) served us poor quality food. I only wanted a piece of fish and a bit of rice but paid the buffet price of £28.

The breakfast was the best i have ever experienced at a hotel, anywhere in the world. Every station had a different option, beautifully cut fruit, cooked English, Pancakes, Sri Lankan, Indian, ice cream, Danish's and much more. Something for everyone and all made to a very high standard.

Staff were not well informed. Restaurants onsite are very expensive. This is a big hotel and the breakfast area can sometimes be a bit crowded.

Great location on a fabulous beach. Awesome extras like water aerobics and yoga. Unbelievable views.

The only thing that was difficult was getting an Uber to explore other parts around the city. It was hard to get a Tuk Tuk as well. If the transportation is good I would give a 10+ rating for our stay.

The location was good and the food was lovely. Niluka was very nice and attentive. All the staff we met were nice. The restaurant and the bars, the Weligama kitchen, Tide bar, Big fish and Surf’s up were all great place to eat drink and enjoy. The yoga sessions we had were amazing as well. We would happily visit Weligama Marriott again.
