The mosquitoes.

The breakfast is huge! The rooms were nice and clean. Each bunk bed had a fan. It was close to the bus station, ATM and travel agent.

Very expensive, communication was difficult with the staff. They had 6/8 dorm beds blocked off for "renovations" so I was forced to stay in a more expensive private room. 10pm curfew.

Breakfast was yummy. Room was comfortable and clean. As the only hostel in Jaffna you don't have much choice.

Both times I stayed there, there was no blanket, no toilet paper and no towel. Of course they gave us everything after we asked, but in my opinion at least a blanket and toilet paper should be in the room without asking.

The staff was really friendly and helped us with the busses and everything :) they let me do a early checking what I really appreciate! And it’s close to the bus station

The staff were really friendly, The hostel is very close to the bus station and about 1 km away from the railway station. The breakfast tasted amazing and they even offer free gym for the guests which will be of great help for people who work out while traveling..

The bathroom is not connected directly into the bedroom but rather by a doorway on the balcony at the back. It often smelled like sewage and there were a lot of tiny ants in both the bathroom and bedroom.

Our room had two huge beds, a desk, and a small sitting area. The AC worked well and the ceiling fans were a great addition.The wifi was non-existent but we got decent enough service in our room to use our mobile data. The breakfast each morning was varied and a traditional Sri Lankan breakfast which was fantastic. The hosts were always friendly and very helpful. It's great that you can use the gym as well. It's set back from the street so you don't get any of the loud traffic noise in the room. We ended up using the mosquito net because a few would get in each time we opened the door to go out to the bathroom. Would recommend to anyone looking for a basic accommodation with breakfast near most of Jaffna's sights.

Very hot in dorm room. Should have fans for every bed. Also some mosquitos, some screens in front of windows would be good.

Met some nice people here, it's the only hostel in town. Host helped to organize things.

Dirty bathroom always, in few days I was there nobody cleaned it.

Good location and quiet in the room although outside was a lot of noises. Comfortable bed and good Ac. Breakfast was quite alright, basic but filling.

This is not a complaint, but I wish they had rooms with attached bathrooms as I would have paid extra if there were such. Also, if there was a way to pay and get clean towels and sheets if required.

Super location in the heart of Jaffna city. Good clean room with comfy bed, air conditioning, tv (and there was even a clothing iron). Staff was supportive and kind. You could rent scooters/ bikes if you wanted. Good breakfast!

The bathroom for our room could have been cleaner and had toilet roll restocked. Fridge in the kitchen also could have done with a clean.

The location was super central, the rooms were quiet, AC the room, breakfast was provided and use of the kitchen! The beds were very comfortable also. Staff were so lovely and accommodating.

close to the city which was in a walking distance from Jaffna bus station. and the property was well maintained and hygienic. food provided by the property was awesome and it was some traditional food of Jaffna which was pretty enough for the breakfast. staff on the property were well mannered.
