Despite minor issues with hot water and air conditioning in our room, the attentive staff and overall positive experience made our stay memorable. We would recommend this hotel to families seeking a relaxing getaway with great food and amenities.

Our stay at Zion View Ella was enjoyable overall. The hotel caters well to families with amenities like a kids' playground, swimming pool, and children's corner with games. The location is serene, just a short tuk-tuk ride from the city center.We found the hotel to have a good restaurant offering tasty breakfasts,as well as delicious lunch and dinner options. We appreciated the excellent services provided, including the children's club and convenient laundry service.

We loved the hotel - to be objective: there is a good hill to access the hotel (take a tuktuk) and it is built on the montain so for everyone to get a view, there are some stairs. The room are in "enfilade" so your neighbours might need to pass in front of your room to access theirs (we did not even notice when people passed by).

The hotel is perfectly located with a direct view on Ella Rock. It s 5 min walking distance from everything you want in the city center. The service was impeccable and the food very tasty. We loved the breakfast (fresh tea, pancakes, eggs, fruits, sri lankan food as well) and the food in general (curry ordered for dinner was excellent). You can do yoga classes, massages, access the pool, enjoy your balcony. We recommend 100%.

Great location up in the hills but you can walk into the town in 10 mins, amazing views. It was my birthday when staying here and the staff set up a beautiful breakfast with a banner, balloons, hat and cake - it was so special!

Steep road access. Many stairs. No air conditioning. Beautiful balcony with hammock and chair but very limited privacy from balcony next door.

Lovely stay at the Zion hotel! The staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us, especially the hotel manager and the reception staff. The chefs at breakfast were lovely too, as was the delicious food. The views from this hotel are insane!! A very special place. Great location (2 mins up the hill from Ella town), and close to all the main sights. Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. We also did the yoga and a massage here (extra charge but good price) which were both enjoyed! Would highly recommend!

Nice room but quite small for a family of 4. We found that the price compared to other places was a bit exaggerated. But we really did enjoy the hotel, the pool and the food, nothing specific to complain about.

We loved the pool facing the mountains, the restaurant terrace facing the mountains and the delicious brunch with lot of choice. Nice kids corner and your own hangmat.

The only thing to note is that the balcony’s of the rooms are open to one another- no one used the balcony as a corridor- but it never felt totally private. To walk around your room you’d have to close every blind and shutter.

The pictures can’t capture the beauty. Stunning view of Adam’s peak, great pool, family friendly.exceptional breakfast, comfortable family rooms. Excellent all around.
