How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

For light sleepers it might be a bit too noisy as windows are facing main pedestrian street. AC didn't seem to work. Would recommend to renew towels and bed mattress.
Very good location, spacious apartments, clean. Floor heating in the bathroom. Recommend for those wanting to stay in the city center.

Minor thing - the bed was too soft for our liking, but it’s a personal preference.
The location is perfect. The apartment is stylish and cozy, we found everything we needed for our stay. Will be our first choise for any future stays in Kaunas!

Needed a clothes dryer/airer just to get the clothes dry washing machine was great but no way of drying things. It could have done with a toaster and a microwave but that’s being picky I was recovering from surgery and it would have been handy for connivence to heat things up.
The location was faultless! Amazing apartment right in the heart of everything. So clean modern and had nearly everything needed for a short stay!

No elevator, but it’s understandable staying in the old town type apartment. We’ve been leaving stroller on the first floor, so no big issues

Just little cold in apartment, but I think it's because autside in night time be -21 degrees 🥶 and needs reparations for shower cabin. All other it's perfect from check in till check out

The only issue I had was it was a Friday night and there was music playing in a bar across the road till 3am!

No criticisms at all.
The apartment is ideally located with views up and down Laisves Avenue. It is spacious and was very well appointed with modern appliances and sufficient crockery and cutlery. We cooked on two of the nights we were there and everything we needed to do so was there. Underground car parking at no additional cost was a real bonus.

Apartment is very nicely decorated, well equipped, very clean and comfortable. Location is simply amazing. Right on the side of main pedestrian street. Very good Bistro on the ground floor. Good bonus was private parking. Very clear instructions on how to get into the building and where/ how to park. Would definitely stay there again.

The room could have been cleaned better, especially the shower area
Beautiful apartment in the city center. The check in was easy, and hosts friendly. Parking was also nearby, and the garage was ok. We would like to come back some day.

I can't think of a negative thing to say about my apartment or my stay.
Apartment is in a super location right on the pedestrian street full of shops & cafe. The apartment is very clean & stylish. Quite luxurious . Comfy double bed mattress, large sofa, TV with Netflix. Quiet location a night time. Beautiful Bathroom with towels, toiletries & a washing machine. Kitchen fully equipped with large fridge & freezer for longer stays. Plenty of storage presses. Easy check in & check out. Very helpful owners who reply fast to any message I sent. I stayed for 8 nights while attending Nords Clinic & it's perfect. Note there is a large staircase from ground to first floor for the apartment. I managed this fine post surgery

When you open the window, it's very loud even in the middle of the night, but you can't hear it with the windows closed. There is air conditioning, so you do not you need to open the windows.
