Spaciousness of the building. Kids have space to run down energy a bit. Building is also a nice specimen of the Soviet era architecture. Exterior and interior of the building has not been changed too much so lot of authenticity remained.

The bathroom ventilator was incredibly loud whenever the bathroom light was on. Some furniture needs small repairs.

Beautiful location, good facilities (pool table and a pool), accommodating staff - we arrived late but he waited for us. Also good value for money, especially as we reserved on the day.

Room amenities need refurbishment. Old-fashioned decor and old furniture. Shower didn't function well.

It was great value for money. Very close walking distance to the lake. Free WIFI, parking spot, barbecue. Nice view from the window. You can use the kitchen and all utensils there. There is also a pool table.

difficult to reach by public transport, rather outdated Soviet-era interior, small rooms, beds are in dire need of an upgrade, weak WiFi signal, the cleanliness leaves to be desired, no breakfast

very helpful and accommodating staff, fully equipped communal kitchen with washing machine and dryer, shared balcony, auxiliary electrical heater in the rooms, short walk to the lake and to the amenities in the village, peaceful and quiet location at the edge of the village

Nothing the hotel can do but I was the only guest and for being alone the hotel is quite big and feeling empty, would recommend staying together or in the peak season! WiFi didn't work in the room.

Quite bizarre to sleep in this Soviet like hotel, would definitely recommend it. Room had a private shower and toilet and was simple but clean and anything you might need, especially nice it has a garden and my room had access to a balcony. Also the kitchen was big and fully equipped. Location is quiet and close to nature, 10 minute walk from the bus station and to the centre. Very friendly owner, who let me borrow a bike because the rental service in town was closed, thank you for that!

It is a post soviet building, you have to be ready that the design, amenities and environment will not look like upscale hotel. Nevertheless, we had good time

Rooms are big, all the key things available, kitchen has cutlery, bathrooms are clean. Given the busy season the price was perfect and location 6 min walk to one of the best beaches in town. At least during our 5 day of stay the quiet hours were implemented and we slept like babies. All good.

Many thinks. I understand that it is not cheap to make this place atractive but sometimes it is needed to do simple things like fix the tap in the kitchen, place at least one shelf in shower and hang hooks in bathroom.

The main advantage of this place is a price and that it is not far from lake. If you can live short time without high cleanliness and comfort, than it is good deal because most probably you came here not to spend days in the room but explore wonderfull Plateliai suroundings. There is equiped kitchen (shared). Free parking.

Impressive hotel in a beautiful national park. There's a communal kitchen in the building and also a fridge in the room. The hotel is close to the lake and easy to reach the bike rental in the village. Would recommend this hotel if you want to explore the park.

Unclean, unhygienic, uncomfortable... Room infested with flies. Matresses and couch seemed like being from the cold war... Fridge was turned off with door closed and smelled like a bacteria bomb... Drain in bath, seemed like hadn't been used for a while and started smelling when using it... In the kitchen there were also many flies. Plus it was missing sharp knifes and dishwashingsoap plus cloth and sponge seemed worn out for to long. Betsheets was extremely perfumed aswell as handsoap.. We really regreted staying there. Though the lake is wonderful and magical.
