What I didn’t like as much was that there is no lift and I wasn’t aware of it. Maybe my fault for not informing nyself properly but we had to go two floors up with our suitcases on arrival and cross the restaurant with them. Worth noting if one travels with heavy suitcases, babies, or any physical limitation. I also didn’t like that the balcony (i.e. the main window for airing and getting light in) of our quite expensive room was, due to the characteristics of the bulding and terrain, right at level with a back street, where people walk by, park their cars etc. it’s just a secondary road but enough for me not to want to open the curtain most of the time. The other side was more private: right under the roof the wondows are smaller and that side, being the front of the property, was a second floor.

We had their biggest family room. It was quite simple considering the price we paid but that is something we expected from the pictures in their website. They have little nice touches like sensors for the lights and the beds are comfortable, the batroom modern and everything is clean. Breakfast is quite good, with the possibility to order eggs and bacon on the spot, which is a very nice extra. And the pool, although a bit worn out, is enjoyable, especially the possibility to book private sessions. All in all, too expensive for what you get but what absolutely made the difference and left us with a very good impression was the staff. They were all lovely, really helpful and very efficient. All of them!

The restaurant at the tanneries is apparently quite well known for exceptional food and unfortunately the restaurant was closed when we were there. The photos give you the idea that it's out in the country amongst the trees and greenery but it's really right in town... For some that might be a good thing for me it was a drawback.

While we were there it's in an awkward construction zone. There wasn't a lot of noise but the roads were difficult to navigate. Easy walk to a nice little restaurant.

Towels were very well laundered! Clean, but not as soft as you might like.

Nice location - a bit of a climb into Wiltz town centre, but it was a lovely walk back. Good size room and plenty of accessible parking. Great breakfast!

Not hotels fault but church bells ring constantly for about 5mins at 7am. Bar area was pretty non existent and was hard work to get a drink.

We arrived on a Sunday and a lot of the restaurants were closed. The hotel restaurant was a bit overpriced. Be careful when using the pool, the floors are very slippery!

Small shower cubicle.

Large Room, comfy bed. Small shower cubicle, but plenty hot water and shower gel etc. Enough wardrobe/drawer space in the more rustic style (door had a key-key!). Had a safe and a small fridge. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was OK enough, continental only, but lots of choice and fresh fruit. Location was good, there are bars/restaurants near by and there was plenty of parking. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was good, although horrified that the €28 bottle of red was only 500ml and the bottled water was €6.80.

The opening hours of the swimming pool are too limited. Breakfast buffet is limited, but ok. A little more choice of bread would be nice and for a hotel in this price category I would expect someone asking you at the table if you would like eggs and bacon. Though if you don't explicitly ask a staff member, you won't see any. The coffee machine isn't up to it's task.

Not much, for the price, it was good value for money. Nice combination of the modern and the old style hotel. It does not pretend to be what it is not, Its presentation of photos and descriptions were true to what it is.

Buffet breakfast was well stocked, constantly refilled by very friendly and efficient staff, compliments. Reception staff was very helpful, well informed to meet enquiries, always friendly and on hand to assist.

Free Wifi in room 16 is barely present. Room price is based on occupation, had to pay 2 different prices for 2 nights. The coffee machine sucks. Cappuccino tastes like chocolate, coffee I don't advise.

Good beds, very complete and tasty breakfast, very spacey room (16), private parking at the entrance of the hotel. The terras has enough shade, so you don;t have to be in full sun while having a meal or a drink.

Questionable taste in the wall art in the bedroom 😆

Being able to book the pool for a private swim was fantastic after a day riding from the UK. The water jets were a bonus, relieving tired muscles. The rome was clean and tidy with plenty of space for our gear, and the beds were comfortable. Reception staff were very helpful and polite. We could park our bikes out of sight from the road.

The welcome was friendly and I instantly felt relaxed. In a quiet location by a river, free parking was available right outside the hotel. My room was large, the bed very comfortable and I had the best night's sleep in a long time. A fantastic service is to make the indoor swimming pool exclusively available for 40 minutes, and you can rent towels and bathrobes. Dinner was fabulous, and breakfast was good. I would happily stay here again.
