I can't say there was anything that made my stay a lot less pleasant or that I was greatly bothered by. I will say, though, the walls are really thin and it wasn't very difficult to hear my neighbors talk to each other. Only reason I didn't understand their conversation is because I didn't speak their language. On thing I might have liked would be some instructions on what to do with the glasses and cups I used. I just left them in the tray I found them outside my room for lack of a better option. The TV I didn't get to use because I couldn't figure out whether there was an active subscription for guests on the streaming platforms. Also, it would have been nice to have a in-suite bathroom, but I can't really complain since it's what I paid for.

I loved how cozy the room was, and the building as well, more generally. It was quiet and dark (which is exactly what I like) when I got there. Finding the key and getting into my room was a breeze. It was a great relief getting out of the cold and into a warm, pleasantly smelling environment. I could feel my heart-rate drop as soon as I got in. The bed was very comfortable, the lighting and decoration soothing and comforting. I was very much satisfied with my stay. The water boiler was a welcome addition, as was the coffee machine downstairs. I never saw any of the staff, but I was also certainly grateful for their keeping the place clean and tidy. The bathroom had one of those tubular self-contained showers units that are apparently popular in Latvia and it worked perfectly.

Historical wooden building, very common for Jurmala. Excellent location and facilities for very cheap price (at least during low season). Contactless check-in.

Only one thing - that the toilet was not in the room. But in was in the corridor, just opposite of the room!

I like that it was very convinient location and cozy place, very nice small room! Special bonus was to have a kettle to make your own tea. The room and the whole place was really peaceful and comfortable

The information about checking it was not clear and we have to call and go the the restaurant in front to get the information about our room and pin to get our key. But such information was not mentioned in the booking confirmation.

There is no mirror in the bathroom (toilet either). You can here everything is happening inside the building.

Location is great, near shops and cafes, 3-5 min walks from Dzintari hall and sea. Beds, sheets and towels were clean and good. TV. internet

We stayed at the apartment in the attic and the bathroom is quite uncomfortable, especially for tall people like us. Wasnt the cleanest room we ever stayed at, and there is no elevator - which hotel is open about - but you should be mindful of it especially if you have heavy luggage or mobility issues.

Location and the staff of the hotel are the strongest points. There are lots of shops, bars, cafe and restaurants near the property.

Super central position; nice old style house from outside and quite modern rooms inside; car parking next to the house; smooth self-check-in and check-out.

The walls/ door are too thin- you can hear EVERYTHING. Feels like people are walking/ speaking right next to you, except you have a wall between. It’s very uncomfortable. A public/ shared kitchen would also be convenient.

Room was really small but I guess it makes up for it in the property’s other good qualities.

Location and charm of the old wooden building, cool, easy nature of the host. Restaurant and it’s cool staff. Tiny room but clean and sufficient for one day stay. Had en-suite bathroom and wardrobes. Double bed was comfortable.

Cleaning ladies enters the room without warning, no knocking or so, so be sure to keep your door locked while your stay. Walls are thin, so prepare to hear your neighbors snoring and other sounds.

I had a bit of trouble giving out the keys at check-out, as the restaurant is still closed at the time check-out ends. It was not clear for me to whom should I give out the key, so I had to just leave them in the room.

The host helped me to check-in earlier than I specified. Thanks! The cepelinai I ordered while I was there were delicious.
