The kitchen and the fridge was a bit untidy. It could be more organised with all stuff put in places. We came back late and were afraid to wake up somebody staying inside in the common room, but we also didn't know how to turn on the lightening to stay outside in the garden. Using the shower with curtain was a bit uncomfortable - water spilling around the bathroom tiles.

I would stay again in this place, and with minor touch-ups I would rate it 9. It was a cozy stay in a house with the garden around. The hostess greeted us and explained everything in person. I have noticed she is reading the reviews and improving the place. Although the railroad is surprisingly close, but there were a lot of trees in the garden and we did not hear the trains loudly even being outside.

Fresh air, unspoiled nature, and a small river are the big advantages of this property. Caring hostess whose delicious pancakes are waiting for you at the appointed time in the morning. It is pleasant to sit on the terrace facing the river, which has direct individual access from the room. Comfortable beds, natural wood floors, and furniture. In the kitchen, you can find the necessary crockery and cutlery. The complimentary mineral water offered to each guest is a pleasure. The shower room is large enough. Free parking is available outside the building. The nearest restaurant is about 1 km away, small grocery shops, a meat and sausage shop, and a pharmacy are even closer. Tourist attractions, including ancient castle ruins, and a manor park, are 1.5-2 km away.

The only thing: missing hangers and shelves in the bathroom, and very wet on the ground after using the shower.

The train runs closeby, so the sound might disturb some, but overall it's not that annoying.

Super nice owner, the whole place is very cozy. Even though the rooms are not very large, it felt very homelike. Nice, stiff, comfortable beds. Direct access to the sunny terrace/balcony area was a big bonus. Definitely recommend to stay here and relax!

I liked the nice views from every part of the hostal immerse in the middle of nature. Very quiet village. Easy to arrive by foot from the train station or bus stop and even easier if you have a car. Wonderful common areas like living room or kitchen and also sauna available (great after a cold day in the woods) . Very comfortable and clean. Meraviglioso, raccomando a tutti prenotare in questo ostello!!!

Nice place to stay. Pancakes for breakfast were tasty, beds quite OK. We stayed in family room and it was quite private for us on 2nd floor. Even railroad next to the house didn't bother so much.

Do not use Google maps to get there or if you do be aware you have to round Kaunas station to get there from the south. Only option for breaksfast wa pankakes, but they were delicious so no complain

There is a railway a short distance away and trains can sometimes be heard passing by, but the noise is not too conspicuous and the trains do not run too often.

The property is in a picturesque location, surrounded by gardens, next to a small river. The owner lives next door, which facilitates communication in case of essential need. Each ground floor room has a separate entrance to the garden and terrace, with keys issued both the central and terrace entrances can be used. There is free parking at the property. Although the rooms do not have a kitchenette, the guest house has a comfortable kitchen with necessary crockery and cutlery and a cozy dining area. A lounge with a fireplace can also be used for relaxing or dining. Breakfast includes delicious crepes with a choice of jam, honey or cream, coffee and tea, and some fruit. The nearest restaurant and shops are 1 km away. Free mineral water is provided, and the rooms have several glasses, spare blankets, and an adjustable heating system. The bathroom is large enough, with a shower at floor level. The window overlooks the garden and the river valley. Outside there is a fire pit and a children's section with a large swing. The internet connection is good enough. There is a train station less than 1 km away, capital city Riga is 94 km away.

The mattrace in the room was very hard so after a few days of sleeping on it my back was hurting, I wish that the rooms were leaned everyday and fresh towels were put in the bathrooms everyday and the tap water and shower water there smelt quite bad.

Location was excellent, the view was great and the staff was friendly.
