The room had no windows, but in my booking I had air conditioning mentioned, while it wasn't working and I was rejected by the staff to turn it on as it was "no season yet", and the only solution suggested was a fan, which wouldn't solve the main problem: there was no air to breathe, and in such case the rude response by the staff wasn't really on point.

Location was great: walking distance from city sights, the bus stop, the famous market. Breakfast was fine.

It’s a bit dated and you have to drag your suitcase (mine was very heavy) up and down the stairs to get to the reception and to your room

The property is located very close to bus station, which was very convenient for me. I really liked the breakfast-something for everyone. Katy’s was an amazing receptionist-very friendly and efficient

The most part of terrace outside was closed. The little place which was open was mostly for smokers. Then outside you need to sit with smokers. The room was too hot and roof window too high and little. Expensive hotel for what you get.

Very central in old town but room was too hot in April . The window was too little and very high in the roof. I got feeling to sleep in a cave. Breakfast is ok!

Lovely big bed, however the duvet was too small for it, think double duvet on a king size bed. Breakfast options were the same every day and a little egg heavy, omelette, boiled eggs, fried eggs.

Rooms were only with ceiling windows, room were dark. Breakfast area is too small for the hotel.

Best location in town. In vicinity of the bus stop taking straight to airport. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Super friendly staff and great location - both to the old city and to the bus station. We were picked up from the airport without any problem and helped out with our luggage. The place has a unique style and amazing interiors, beds are comfortable and room spacious. We had a good night sleep and for sure we will be back. We loved everything about this place!

Bed was quite short and another bed lamp didin't work very well.

Location was perfect in Riga old town. Short walk to coach station. Staff was friendly and hotel was clean. Breakfast was good. We booked junior suite and the jacuzzi in the bathroom was a nice addition.

The breakfast is basic. Doesn't really bother me, as I don't usually get up in time for it.

The location is great. The rooms are dated, but think of this as a hotel with character, not your standard beige hotels. Stayed here every time I've been to Riga, I don't even consider anywhere different.

I knew that we didn't have an air conditioner in the room, but still expected that it would be that cold inside the room (end of February). Towels and bed sheets smelt with chloride, probably very well disinfected :D

A really nice hotel in the Old Town. The staff is very friendly, the room was clean with everything necessary inside. Especially an electric teapot made me happy. There is a nice restaurant inside the hotel where you can eat any time, and the breakfast for the guests was super good and various :)

Room was a bit on the small side, however for a short stay it was still ideal. Also step in bathroom was so high that it was hard not to trip over it.

Very nice and cozy place right between bus station and the old town. A lot of eating spots and sightseeing places that you can visit within minutes of leaving the hotel.

Very narrow passage between the bed and the wall.

Almost everything was very nice. I really liked that there was a bathtub in bathroom and a view of the winding cobbled street from the window.

Perfect located in the old town of Riga. Excellent breakfast, many hot alternatives. The receptionist told how to get to the bus station when departing, very short walk. Good value for money for the price paid.

Carpets all over: I am a little bit allergic to dust, the carpets dry the air and give dust. Our room was very small. It was not easy to get to the bed from the wall side, because there was not enough place foor feet. The big bed could be 10 cm smaller. Or the room would be best for one person in a single bed. Our small room had dark red heavy curtains and bed cover, doors and furnitures were of dark wood, all those made the small room look even smaller. This hotel is not for a person with bad legs because of many steps.

Location is perfect: near the main busstation, trams and buses stop right on the other side of a little park. Hotel was still very quiet. Bed was excellent, blanket nicely little heavier and the long pillow just what I needed.
