Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

MexicoThe dinner and breakfast were delicious, and my kids especially loved the breakfast tagine eggs. They accommodated our requests for pickup and meal times perfectly. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. My kids had a blast learning how to play the Moroccan drums and loved playing them at the fire pit. Our visit to Merzouga was truly wonderful. Thank you for your incredible hospitality

MexicoThe hosts truly made our stay unforgettable. Arriving at the right time for the sunset camel ride and returning via 4x4 were both incredibly fun experiences, especially with the thrilling ride over the dunes. In the evening, the atmosphere around the lit fires, accompanied by drums and music, was truly magical. And let's not forget about the dinner—it was hands down the best Moroccan food we had throughout our trip!

SpainI didn’t stay for long
We did the one night tour with the camel treck, staying in the camp, and it was amazing. Everything was perfectly organised, Hassan was very helpful and every step of the tour was a pleasure, and the people involved were nice and accommodating. We also had a room for us to wait before the tour start and afterwards when we came back. Booking was quick and simple and everything went smoothly. Highly recommended

SpainHad a nice ride on the dromedary to the camp. Arrived quietly and received a welcome tea. In terms of dinner, the starter and dessert were a bit disappointing. Main course is a delicious tagine. Later in the evening we had fun by the fire with music, under an unfortunately cloudy sky. But of course the organization cannot do anything about the latter! The tent we slept in was very spacious and had a good bed. Be sure to bring some warm clothes for the night!

United StatesI wouldn’t recommend somewhere else😂😂
I definitely recommend it! First we met in a hotel in the late afternoon and had a cup of mint tea,. Then the camel ride started. Everyone got their own dromedary (there were five of us in total). A guide led the way on foot. In the middle of the tour we took a short break where we could take beautiful pictures of the sunset in the middle of the dunes. In the camp, which is located on the edge of the dunes, mint tea again and snacks were waiting for us. There was delicious and plentiful traditional dinner. Finally, there was drumming and singing around the campfire. Everyone was very friendly and interested. All in all a great experience!

GermanyThe camel trek into camp was incredibly fun. Everyone was so immediately personable and upbeat. We were running up the sand, sliding down the dunes, and riding the camels before heading into the camp. We watched the sunrise in the morning while surfing down the sand dunes. The meals were phenomenal- the desert version of a Michelin star restaurant. At night, we played the drums, socialized, and danced by the fire. Next time I’ll spend more nights to trek out into the desert.

PortugalIt was a magnificent desert experience on a camel! Mister Cerveza (my camel) was the best ship of the desert! Now I want to go to the desert for a week on camels. We arrived early, but at the camp in Merzuga it was possible to take a break and recharge the batteries. Our standard camp in the desert was very convenient and comfortable (hot water, shower toilets, beds!). Dinner was pretty good, but for breakfast I would add eggs (but not in the food happiness). I was satisfied! If I'm in Morocco, I will definitely repeat with these guys.

NorwayThe organizers are clearly professionals. Communication via WhatsApp was smooth. The meeting point is easy to find (we got the address via WhatsApp; I would just put it in the add), private parking is available. The tour was exactly as described. Luxury Camp was great (showers!). Staff was helpful and friendly. Communication in English was always possible. Dinner and breakfast are included (uneven, but acceptable). And the erg is, of course, magnificent. Highly recommended!

ArgentinaOur trip started in the evening with the camel ride into the desert. On our way our guide took a lot of pictures for us and we made a stop as well to watch the sunset. After arriving at the desert camp, we had some time to freshen up and afterwards we had dinner. I was suprised about the living in the camp, our room was equipped with four beds and a bathroom with shower included. After dinner we sat together outside around a campfire and our guides began to play some music in which we could join in later as well. At the next morning we had the option to either go back by camel again or to take the jeep. Overall really an unique experience and the highlight of our Marocco trip!

SpainThis was an unforgettable experience. It was a very well organised tour. Mohamed was in contact with us from the start and communication was prompt and detailed. We met him outside the desert and parked our car in a safe area. We then did an hour camel trekking and our 2 guides named addi were very friendly and engaged our family. They were very caring towards their camels and were great photographers too. We were welcomed by Hassan and others at the desert camp just in time for the most mesmerising sunset. The dinner was lovely, rooms were cosy, showers had hot water and the bonfire and music and dance added more fun to this great experience. Highly recommend it to anyone who likes organised experiences and friendly people

ArgentinaThe Erg Chebbi dunes are fantastic and were the highlights of our trip in Morocco. The dunes were so authentic and it felt like you were walking (or the dromedary) in the most beautiful picture. The dunes are so special with the dromedaries and the fantastic colors, great camps, beautiful sand and great animals. This is an absolute must-do whenever in Morocco.

United KingdomThis tour was the highlight of my Morocco trip! Hassan definitely went above and beyond to make our tour special and memorable, he's the best. The camel ride through the desert and the sunset over the dunes were amazing. The camp itself was so beautiful with a private bathroom and surprisingly a lot of power outlets. Dinner and breakfast were delicious and the bonfire and music were so fun. My favorite part was seeing the stars at night. I would definitely do this tour again, its must
