This is one of the best hostels I've stayed at in my long time traveling. First of all, I want to thank Hamza, Yasine and Yasine, who run the hostel, for the incredible vibes and for making me feel at home at Afer. In terms of the hostel itself, it has everything you could ask for in a surf hostel. It's clean and well equipped, and the beds are comfortable and have curtains, which is always great. There's also a kitchen to cook in. The location is also walking distance to both of Imsouane's amazing surf spots. It says a lot that I originally booked two nights at Afer but ended up extending more and more to eventually stay eight nights. Overall, couldn't rate this place more highly. I hope to be back soon :)

Always happy to come back to Afer Surf Hostel whenever I go to Imsouane. Great staff and chill atmosphere around the hostel. The hostel also rents surf gear for a good price and the surf instructor Yassine is patient and good at teaching.

Yassine, Yassine and Hamza where super friendly and helpful! Great social vibes at the hostel! The rooftop terrace is really nice woth plenty of shared space. Only 5 min walk to the bay & 2 min walk to cathedral.

Smart construction of the dorm beds, super comfy blankets. You can have a fun time on the rooftop and dorm rooms will still be unaffected by the noise. Lovely staff !

Cosy place with lovely staff where you'll feel at home immediately. Walking distance to both cathedrale and la baie. The breakfast is optional but sooo good and a looot of food. Shukraaaan boys & thank you Yassine for the surf lessons!

Afer hostel is a very good choice of accommodation ran by an amazing staff. Hamza and the two Yassine go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome, to make sure everyone has everything they need. A rare but very nice touch in the dorm rooms : each bed has an individual curtain that you may draw for more privacy. It's a small detail but makes a world of difference. Great value for money ! The location is very calm, very easy to find, a 5/10 minute-walk downhill to the beach. Thank you guys !

The beds may be too hard for some people, even though this was a minor issue.

The overall atmosphere in the hostel is really nice. Hamza, Yassin and Yassin are fantastic hosts. They provide local tips, surfing lessons, surfing equipment, chill evenings in the hostel itself, et cetera. The place is also daily cleaned which is very nice. Everything works perfectly in the hostel and there is a very good wifi connection.

The staff were amazing! Incredibly friendly and great company. Plenty of surf tips and chat all around! The breakfast was amazing, one of the best we had in Morocco! And I now know far more about waves than I’d ever anticipated.
