Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Hassan and his family are so welcoming. The food is absolutely incredible. The bedroom nice and clean and the bed is very comfortable. The view is stunning from the veranda/balcony. Everything I asked for Hassan was there to accommodate my needs. It was my birthday whilst staying here and Hassan got his sister to make me a cake which was a very lovely surprise. He also arranged for me to climb Toubkal, all meals were included and the guide within the price👍🏼

Hungary-
We loved everything about this Riad! We stayed there only one night before climbing Toubkal, however Hassan and his father were amazing! Cooked us very delicious breakfast, lunch, dinner (these were the best food we ate in Morocco). We could leave our luggages in the Riad when we climbed Toubkal and we could have a lunch when we picked it up. This place just felt like home to us!☺️

AustriaThere was nothing to complain about.
It was such a pleasure staying at Hassan's Family Riad. Much attention was paid to serving our needs for our hiking tours, getting a guide, but also providing us with hospitality and kindness the three days we stayed. With his father, Hassan has given us wonderful Berber dishes for dinner and lucnh and tended to our every need with tea during the day and an excellent breakfast before hikes. The rooms were tidy and quiet and look authentic for Imlil with nice decor on the walls. The terrace is amazing for relaxing in the afternoon watching the rocks changing the tone of red multiple times until the quiet of the night sets in. We felt at home and would come again. Thank you for everything Hassan. Inshallah.

United KingdomCould have happily lived without scramble up the slope to get there (and the skiddy shuttle back down!) but it was more than worth it! Do note though, this place is definitely not for those with mobility restrictions!
This place was the perfect place to decompress at the start of our holiday before taking on the souks and scammers of Marrakesh. Not only does it have views you’ll never get tired of across the various villages that make up Imlil, but the most incredible hospitality. Hassan is a fantastic host who’s always happy to arrange anything you need (tours, hikes, transfers via other cool stuff to see…) and he and his family really look after their guests. The food is fantastic and the quantities are generous to say the least. The eggs done in the tagine were the best eggs I’ve ever had anywhere.

MoroccoI spent 2 days in Amazigh family riad, the weather was so good, Hassan is a nice guy with great hospitality, the riad was clean and the view from the terrace is fabulous, the riad isn't in the center of Imlil wich make it a quit a good place to reconnect with the nature, I'll definitely go back and I highly recommend it.

Czech RepublicIf you have car, don't try to go in front of hotel. We were not able to go up the steep hill with Dacia Logan Stepway. Ask the host, he will pick you up.
We spend a night in Imlil and we recommend this accommodation. Hassan is a great host. He understood our needs - we started early morning for a hike to Toubkal. Hassan allowed us to left some baggage inside. Moreover, we had the best Tajine here - from our 10 days stay in Morocco. There is terrace with a beautiful panoramatic view. The accommodation was well equipped - there are even mobile heaters. Thank you Hassan for your patience and help.

NetherlandsVery friendly staff. I decided last moment I wanted to climb mount Toubkal and quickly booked a stay in Imlil. I ended up at this riad and was happy I did. It’s a family run Riad. He helped me to plan my climb/hike, got me a guide and borrowed me gear. I didn’t have cash and there is not atm in town. He told me I could pay afterwards and even met up with me at the atm outside of town so that I didn’t have to drive there and drive back to Imlil, but could go straight back to marrakech. Great experience and great memory. Is this place the equivalent of a 5 star hotel, no. But it was definitely a 5 star experience! Staff will do what they can to help you and make sure you have a good stay. The Riad itself is also nice. Nice views.
