Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. PortugalWhat a fantastic place to stay - it's like an oasis down a dusty, nondescript road. We enjoyed two nights there. The hotel resembles a kasbah (fortified house) with mud walls and has lovely design features throughout. There is also a peaceful rear garden and a pool. There is private, secure parking on the property, behind a tall locked gate. The guest rooms are like small suites with plenty of space. It’s very different from the other places that we stayed at on the trip and I spent several minutes walking around and taking photos, including from the flat roof. We really loved the place. The young staff members were great. We ate dinner there on both nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's a good base for exploring the nearby Kasbah Amridil, as well as Dades Gorge and the Valley of the Roses. We would gladly stay there again if our travels take us that way.

United KingdomNothing.
Karim is a lovely host, we were treated to tea and snacks shortly after our arrival in a patio area overlooking a delightful garden. Very peaceful in late afternoon accompanied by birdsong and sound of running water from the newly completed water feature. The gardens are huge and on the opposite side of the Kasbah, there is a lovely open air swimming pool with loungers. All around the grounds there are secluded areas to sit and admire the gardens. The rooms are spotlessly clean and very comfortable. There was plenty of hot water for showers. Good wifi. There is a choice of eating areas around the property and for dinner and breakfast, we were able to dine outside. Dinner consisted of chicken tagine with figs and a vegetarian option can be provided which was very good. Breakfast consisted of egg, yoghurt, bread, jams, cheese and fruit provided a good start to the day.

SpainIt was perfect
This was the best surprise! It’s like a little castle, a hidden oasis. The pictures don’t do it justice! The gardens are insane - orchards, never ending flowered trees, they even have sheep! The gardening is perfection, the vibe, the pool is so comfortable with beds and even straw hats for everyone. You feel like you are in a little secluded paradise, silent except for birds and nature. The rooms are big suites, clean and with great bathrooms. Family owned, the sister is an amazing chef - dinner was the best tajin I had in Morocco. The father and son run the show and are so kind and friendly.

Germany-
A beautiful, green kasbah, an oasis of calm after the big city. We were welcomed with the scent of the orange trees growing all over the garden. There are several places to sit in the garden, by the pool or on the terrace. The kasbah itself is stylishly decorated. We had two beautiful, authentic rooms. The host is very friendly. Very good food!

This hotel drastically exceeded our expectations. We did not fully know what to expect as we booked this for a stop while traveling between Merzouga and Marrakech, and we are so happy that we did. The house, grounds and rooms were amazing. Karim was so welcoming. We enjoyed hearing about the history of the house and walking through the gardens. We also had breakfast and dinner there and both were absolutely amazing, some of the best meals we had on our extended Moroccan trip. We stayed in a family room, which had a shared entry area, one room with a queen bed, one with two twin beds and a shared bathroom. There was also a small sitting room and a small patio area. Just perfect for our family of 4.

United KingdomBeautiful kasbah set in its own gardens with the bedrooms around a central courtyard and breakfast served overlooking the garden. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choice and heating was provided in the rooms for the cold nights. There is parking in the grounds. There are interesting local walks to see kasbahs and the oasis and you can drive to the Dades Gorge.

It was delightful to stay at Tiriguioute! It is a family kasbah (from grand-father to father to sons and daughter) with a fantastic garden, really comfortable rooms and decorated with taste. And speaking about taste… BEST FOOD we had in all our trip! Thanks Sana! And Karim is such a great host, we were emotional when we left the place. We stayed in winter and heating-hot water worked perfectly. We could not try the swimming pool but it must be super nice during the hot days. We will definitely come back if visiting Skoura again!

The Kasbah from Karim’s family is amazing! It was built by his grandfather over 50 years ago and is very very beautiful. The room is super comfortable with the best bed of our trip. It was really warm during the winter nights. Breakfast was stellar with the best and freshest orange juice of the entire trip, of oranges just picked from the garden that morning! Inside it is gorgeous and might be worth spending an extra night there. Secure parking too and lots of private space to relax, have dinner and breakfast. Good wifi too. Excellent hair dryer.

The dinner was fantastic (best chicken tajine we had in Morocco). The breakfast was amazing. This is the best place among 11 different riads/ hotels in total we stayed in Morocco.

United KingdomNothing. Absolutely nothing. Should have stayed longer
I’d had to tweak our stay in order to fit in even one night in Skoura, and my only regret is that I couldn’t fit in two at this utterly magical, enchanting kasbah. It’s even lovelier in real life than in the pictures. The garden is gorgeous - in late October it was laden with pomegranates which we were welcome to pick, and with oranges which appeared, freshly squeezed, at the breakfast table. The only problem is deciding which charming nook, table, shady bench or rooftop vantage point you are going to choose. Around every corner of both the garden and the building is a new, eye-catching architectural or decorative detail. Oh, and the mint tea and home-made snacks which welcomed us were absolutely delicious, as was all the freshly prepared and very generous food we were served. Dinner wasn’t automatically included in our booking but I highly recommend you add it. The rooms were very comfortable and attractive, and the bathrooms lovely - plenty of hot water. Decent wifi, too. The pool and pool area were also great - sadly, we arrived too late in the day to take full advantage of it, but when I dipped a foot in, it didn’t seem unreasonably cold haha. The staff were friendly and accommodating and did everything to make our stay wonderful.

United KingdomA bit of traffic noise when sitting outside.
This is an old family property with a lot character - which has been/is being extended - and comfortable bedrooms. Though it is on the edge of the oasis and Skoura itself, the pomegranate gardens in the back are beautiful as is the pool area. We really appreciated the tea and snacks which greeted us on our arrival. The dinners were simple but tasty and very plentiful. Thank you Karim for getting the goat's cheese which we had seen advertised in the town - a very nice gesture.

United KingdomBreakfast was a little slow to start although very few rooms were occupied. Artisanal tables with nail heads sticking out which could easily ruin long sleeve tops
Typical kasbah, traditionally built but offering all the mod cons. Large garden, swimming pool At night, thanks to clever lighting, the building looks like a Disney decor. Front of house very efficient , always with a large smile , fluent in French and English. Traditional cooking for dinner , which is served in the garden. Enclosed parking

Canada"I recently had the pleasure of staying at Auberge Kasbah Tiriguioute, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. The customer service is top-notch, and the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and comfortable throughout your stay. The highlight for me was the fantastic swimming pool, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The hotel's serene and peaceful atmosphere is a welcome respite when traveling between cities, making it an ideal spot to take a break. The meals were a delightful surprise – dinner and breakfast were not only delicious but also showcased the local flavors. A generous welcome with tea, nuts, and dates set a warm and inviting tone. One of the unique aspects of this place is the beautiful garden with fruit trees that you can pick and enjoy at your leisure. It's a lovely touch that adds to the overall experience. For those who are interested, there are animals at the back if you want to explore, which can be a fun and educational experience. Lastly, the rooms were impeccably clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. an establishment like Auberge Kasbah Tiriguioute, with its authentic atmosphere, adds a special touch to the overall experience. The authenticity of the place makes it stand out from more conventional accommodations. It's a place where you can truly immerse yourself in the local culture and traditions, providing a unique and memorable stay for anyone seeking a genuine and enriching travel experience.

SloveniaThis was definitely one of the highlights of our 14-days Morocco trip. We stayed for three nights in this beautiful kasbah. It has a lovely huge garden where you can eat the dinner and breakfast. The room was big and had everything we needed. The hosts are some of the loveliest people we met. We suggest you also have dinner here as well, as it was the best food we have had in our whole trip. And the portions are huge. If we are ever in the area again, we will surely come visit again. Thank you so much for a great experience!

CanadaThis property is absolutely AMAZING! We loved every single minute of our short stay, the pictures don’t do justice of how beautiful this Kasbah is! As soon as you step inside the Kasbah you fell like you are in a castle and when you go outside you find yourself inside a beautiful garden full of orange trees, pomegranate trees, figs tress, palm trees…. The owners of the Kasbah are the warmest and nicest people we encounter in our 3 weeks trip in Morocco! When we arrived they greeted us with mint tea, fresh dates, almonds and home made cookies. For dinner they served us the best chicken with dates and apple Tajín we had in Morocco! For breakfast we were spoiled with fruit salad, yogurt, jam, honey, eggs, cream cheese, croissant, baguettes, msemmen, fresh orange juice, coffee, mint tea…. This was by far the best place we stayed in all Morocco!
