Unfortunately,, it truly lacks character. There’s a lot of promise to grow! However, you’re still miles behind. The website is pretty misleading 1: Minimal activity’s to do unless you want to spend a fortune 2: Yoga studio looks stunning! However, no classes or an instructor 3: Zero entertainment in the evening 4: The neighbouring neighbourhood is clearly very poor, and struggle to farm due to lack of rain water. However, you have gardeners watering the same spot of grass for half an hour… You’ve marked yourself as an Eco-Friendly hotel… 5: Alcohol is not served at the premises - you can bring your own which is great. However, it would have been nice to know this beforehand. 6: Staff - friendly, but incompetent

I got a food poisoning in there. The quality of the cuisine is very questionable (not every day we had fresh fish). Focus of the food is on European style. There is no air conditioning in the room (despite the description on booking). There is no wifi in the room. There is no shadow on the balcony and very limited shadow at the pool. Drive to Essaouria is far.

We would have rated the hotel by "1", if the hotel manager had not been so friendly and helpful after I got sick due to the food poisoning. we were staying at the hotel for two nights and on the second evening I got very seek. The whole two days we ate only at the property and their restaurant. We are pretty sure the the sea food was bad.

We got a transfer from Marrakesh so didn't have our own car. Whilst the location is amazing it is very isolated with no villages/shops nearby (appreciate it's part of the charm), a taxi to Essaouria from the hotels is approx 400dirhams each way, so we only went a couple of times during our week stay. The staff are very friendly & polite, but the communication was poor regarding meal times, activities available and the dinner menu remained the same and offered no Moroccan food, European dishes were a bit hit and miss and there was often a long wait time for food. The hotel serves no alcohol. Wi fi wasn't particularly reliable.

Amazing location right on the beach approx 25 minutes drive north of Essaouira. Very peaceful.

But the service is drammatic: > we arrived at 14:00, and our room was not ready (while check-in is supposed to be anytime from 13:00 to 18:00 ... > nobody helped us with the luggage, while you have to carry it through the garden ... > the restaurant is catastrophic: there are only 3-5 dishes offered, always the same (while the closest restaurant is at more than 30 minutes drive, and if you stay several days you'd like to eat something differrent at each meal), service is very very slow (more than 1 hour to get your main dish), and we were never served together ... most of the personnel does not speak correct French nor English, but say 'yes' to whatever you ask, and brings you something else !!! We asked for hot chocolate at breakfast, and got some capuccino ... > we could apparently order additional dishes, but disovered this only after two days we were eating same same 3 dishes displayed on the menu !!! > they rent quads without providing helmets, and without checking the age of the drivers !!! My son, 13 years old, has been allowed to drive a quad (while it is formally forbidden for anybody less than 16 !). One of the 2 quads was broken, and died in the middle of the dunes ... not instructions or tips on how and where to drive: we got stuck several times in the soft sands on the dunes ... no security at all, and probably illegal ! > they are in the middle of a desertic area, where local farmers are starving, because of the lack of water, and they have 3-4 gardeners watering the garden 24 hours a day !!! Chocking !!! > overall, the whole property is nice, but not well conceived, after 6 months of operations, some pieces of the buildings are already falling apart, while others are not yet finished ! > totally dis-organized !!! General Manager is clearly inadapted and incompetent, and the whole organization is chaotic !!! > they do not serve alcohol, fine, but this infrmation should be given on Booking.com !!!

The location, along a beautiful immense sandy beach is unique. Rooms are overall comfortable, and the garden is very nice.

The staff is super friendly, but not well educated. Especially the restaurant is a mess. They need lots of education in hospitality, if they want to be a high level hotel. There is nothing around the hotel, it takes a 35 min drive to find restaurants so their facilities need to be on point. There is no alcohol permission. Also they warned us at arrival that the hotel still had a lot of flaws, I think they need to fix the flaws first before opening to the public.

The architecture of the hotel is amazing, the rooms are big and comfortable. It is very close to a long wild & rural beach - we did a beautiful horse ride at sunset.
