The location. The name of the hotel gives the impression that it is close to the Medina. Sadly, google maps said it was 45 minutes walk away.

Room was OK. Big comfortable beds. Nothing special, but nothing to complain about either.

Lighting in room very bad. Only one chair in room for 2 persons. Drinking water is free only for the first day and chargeable thereafter.

1. no coffee in the room only tea which wasn’t replaced everyday 2. Bed sheets not getting changed on a daily basis even when we told house keeping to change them 3. Towels were old need replacing 4. One night was in the shower the water stopped for a few hours rang reception they said they informed me there be a water shortage but no informed us

Overall the hotel is nice the room was clean and the beds were comfortable and the location was excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful

There are a a lot of details that need to be looked after. The Hotel Manager should work hard on unleashing the potential of this modern hotel, that is hidden by some lack of professionalism. A couple of examples: the bottle of gel in the bedroom was broken, the phone did not work because the cable was not well fixed (which I did myself), the transfer to the airport came 20 minutes later and responded when I complained: "4:20 or 4:00 is the same....". I am talking 4:00 in the morning! How can 4 clients (including two chlidren) wake up so early and then wait 20 minutes for the driver?

The location in the city center next to a mall with restaurants and less than 30 minutes by foot to the Medina. The very comfortable beds. The modern installation and the efficient air conditioning. It was very cold in Fes with temperatures between 2 and 5° at night but we did not feel it, as opposed to a famous riad we have been to a couple of days earlier, were it was very chilly at night. Nice and friendly staff at reception.

Am on my honeymoon and was given 2 joined single beds which was not comfortable at all that was the only thing that didn’t work for me otherwise I would rate Barceló 10/10 I hope they change this

The hotel, was in a very good location Central and had everything,the staff were very helpful. Specially ILham very friendly. She had a lovely smile, and also very professional and had a very good knowledge of Fes And also she made me feel at home

I enjoyed my short stay at Barcelo. The location was good as all the amenities were close by. The hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful as they spoke English which was useful. Breakfast was a good selection, but need to have a better selection of cereals. Overall stay was good. I would recommend this hotel to others and would return in the future if I was visiting Fes.

Given that the water in the room is not potable, I would expect the hotel to provide at least 1.5 l of water for each day of the stay. We had to buy water.

The bed is really big and comfortable. It was my birthday during my stay, they surprised me with a birthday cake and a delicious cake that was brought to the room. It was a pleasant surprise.

The pool area was a bit basic, some updated furniture in the pool area would go a long way. The breakfast was okay, but could have been a bit better.

The hotel was well located, clean and safe. The room was lovely, very quiet with great views overlooking the city. The bed was very comfortable, and the bedding well thought out. I was grateful for the kettle, tea and coffee facilities in the room. The bathroom was finished to a good standard with a nice shower. The staff were friendly and helpful, and helped arrange taxi’s to the airport the next day.

Only water in room on arrival. When the local water is not recommended to drink then hotel should provide 1 bottle per person daily for bushing teeth and drinking. We have found the same throughout Morrocci so not just this hotel..

Excellent location. 5 min drive from train station, 10 minutes to tourist attractions. Front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was large with massive comfy firm bed and a cloud of pillows. Felt very luxurious at excellent room rate.

I thought the bedding and mattress could have looked newer and cleaner and the floor could have been cleaner.

The Barcelos is very convenient and we enjoyed the pool. The staff was very kind and professional. I booked a conference here and I thin overall it went well. Overall a great location, easy to get to McDonalds, the Borj Mall and then a quick taxi to the medina. Easy to get taxis at all times. I do think it is decent value for money.

Transfer pre-confirmed from the airport not arranged, had to call the hotel, and they sent someone very quickly

Locación was very good, near a mall, nice walk to the royal palace, and 5min taxi to the medina. Rooms were spacious and very clean Helpful staff
