Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SpainEverything was great! Really nothing negative.
Unique experience in the desert! We could not imagine something better! The camp is in a great location. Clean, comfortable, very big, cosy. The people so nice, welcoming and smiley! The food amazing in very big portions so we were never left hungry! They were always there for us to help us or offer us a cup of tea or invite us to enjoy the night next to the fire place by singing and dancing! Thank you again for everything!

It was a great stay! The locstion is perfect as it is situated at the beginning of the dessert. Thus, it gives you the freedom to come and go by car and discover cities closeby or maybe the Berbers etc. Other camps are deep in the dessert and will ask you a fee of €30 per person to get you to the camp. We did two activities which where great! We did ths sunrise camelride in the morning which is €25 per person. Really beautiful! Moreover, we did the 4x4 jeep which is €150 for the entire car with guide. So if you go with 4 persons, it is actually really cheap! We went with the 2 of us and we would really recommend it. It is a day trip in which you discover the berbers and other tribes and how they live. You go to some local mines and search for fossils. And of course, you go by 4x4 so you have a great ride in the desert! Ps: I added some pictures of the above!

United KingdomDidn’t know about Aiour until I was in alcazar when Othman(GM at Le Grand Alcazar in Fes) recommended about Aiour and I booked it straight away. I was very particular about heating because I was travelling with 6 months old baby and it was cold in the evenings. Aiour solved that issue as they had aircon in the camp. Amazing location of the camp setup by the dunes and the family enjoyed the stay at this camp. The staff specially Hamid was so kind and generous. Ahmed was brilliant in his communication and always helping us. The bonfire night with Berber music was icing on the cake. Overall I recommend Aiour Luxury camp and the setup was so luxury.

CanadaI can’t think of anything!
The property is situated in an ideal location that leads right to the Sahara desert and still close enough to some of the smaller towns. The tents were all a great size and were not too close to each other. The main tent where you had your meals was also lovely and comfortable. Loved how well everything was decorated as well!

United KingdomThe luxury and comfort of a great hotel with the most stunning views (Sahara) we’ve ever seen in my life. We would highly recommend seeing the sunrise by camel - Ibrahim was great! Hassan & Zayid (apologies for the spelling!) were really friendly and super helpful. The tent itself was stunning, fixtures plumbing and a hot shower all in place. I don’t think we’ve had a better night stay in Morocco yet 😄

United StatesWe loved it. Beautifully decorated with comfortable bed and down comforter. Tent was big. There were two twin beds in addition to the king size bed and room for sitting. It looked way better than the pictures. Water pressure was decent. Prob need to bring your own shampoo and conditioner and I didn’t find hair dryer. We only spent one night there so it was okay. Staff was friendly and sweet.

PortugalWe spent a wonderful evening at the golden dune of Sahara. We didn't expect the staff to play amazing Berber music after dinner. We had a great time dancing with the hosting team. The camel ride was great and we saw an amazing sunrise. Thank you for hosting us in your luxury tent.

United StatesOur tent was beautiful, the furniture, the bathroom (the sink was something you would find in a five star hotel), the bedding was all exceptional. I appreciated that the staff put us in a room during the day so our tent can cool down from the hot desert sun. The food was also incredible. We travelled all over Morocco and loved the dinner. They kept saying, we want you to feel like you are home!

NetherlandsThe experience of staying on the edge of the dessert with the feel of a tent and the luxury of a hotelroom. When we arrived early in the hot afternoon sun we where offered a room to rest in the adjacent Riad as the tents where way to hot. After experiencing a wonderful sunset camelride a nice Marrocan diner was served. Even though it was July and really hot the airconditioning in the tent (that was beautifully decorated) made this a wonderful experience.

CanadaThis isn’t necessarily a dislike but more of something to note — the camp is actually located very close to the hotel. However, when you consider that there is air conditioning and a fully functioning bathroom, this makes sense and it’s worth it.
The tents are large and the decor is exactly as pictured, so the stay was relaxing and stylish. Having a full bathroom with a flush toilet and running shower was also great. The dining tent was also lovely. The air conditioning was a must for staying in the desert in July.

United StatesIn the heat of the summer, the air conditioning will not keep the tents cool during the daytime, but the proprieter let us nap in one of the hotel rooms during the day where it was very comfortable, and once the sun went down the air conditioning kept the tent very cool and comfortable.
Unbelievable experience. Air conditioning worked great at night. Took an amazing camel ride, desert tour and dune buggy ride through the camp. Meals were very good. Staff was amazing and extremely accommodating. The camp is on the edge of the sand dunes away from all other civilization. Truly an unforgettable experience.

The tents were very spacious, clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated - a wonderful luxury in the desert. The setting was absolutely breathtaking. The host Sayed was truly exceptional - he was warm, authentic, and helped us have a very enjoyable desert experience. He helped us arrange ATVs, dune buggies, a wonderful dinner and musical experience. We would highly recommend staying here.

ItalyNothing really, we enjoyed our time at Aiour and would recommend to other guests.
Of course the setting. Having a very comfortable and spacious tent in the Sahara desert, with a great overall setting and facility. We liked the very spacious room, the sizeable bathroom with a surprisingly high-pressure shower with constant hot water! Outside of our room, the common area and the tent for breakfast/dinner were great. Breakfast was a buffet type, with savory and sweet choices (eggs cooked in a tagine with spices, butter/jam, pancakes, different types of cakes, and arab bread). You can literally walk outside of your tent and be on top of a sand dune in 2 min, whilst the hotel is very close to the main road as well. Recommended for those people that want to enjoy the sand experience, but yet maintain the flexibility of moving around by having access to the main road (other camps are 30min into the desert and once there you are pretty much "trapped" for the entire duration of your stay unless you pay high fees to drive back with a camel or 4x4). Very special the sunset/sunrise, is definitively recommended! B
