Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

ArgentinaHad an amazing time at the camp, the camel ride was breathtaking and something we'd recommend highly. It was very professionally organised by Zaid which was coordinated to align with the sunset. The accommodation and food + entertainment with traditional berber music in the camp was brilliant and was quite amazed to see the great work they've done setting up such luxury accommodation in the desert sand, all powered by solar I believe. Overall great experience managed by lovely people- highly recommend.

United KingdomThis was the highlight of our trip. We took the camel in just before sunset and could not believe the beauty of the dunes. Our camel guide took extra time to bring us to one of the peaks for the best view of the sunset. We felt so lucky and spent a long time just taking in the surroundings. When we arrived to the camp we were blown even further away. The atmosphere, tents and food were all fantastic. The guys working at the camp clearly love what they do and are ready to make it perfect for you. The food was plentiful and delicious. Tents had power and full private bathrooms. The entertainment by the fire, under the stars was very special. The traditional songs in that night time, firelit setting really transports you into the Berber culture. Sunrise was really lovely as well. There is no rush at the camp and everything is catered to your schedule and pace. Please support this brand new camp. These guys have a really good thing going.

MoroccoLoved our camel trek into the dunes for a beautiful sunset, then on to this luxury desert camp. The view as one approaches in the gathering night was magical. Delicious dinner followed by entertaining music, singing and dancing. The tents were absolutely perfect, exquisitely outfitted, roomy and comfy. All the staff were a delight to meet and they handle everything with a smile. My only complaint is we did not stay longer!!!

MexicoBeautiful camp to stay in overnight with great service. The dinner was very plentiful - we had a platter of grilled meats and veggies, which was also a nice break from the typical tagines we had at riads. We rode the camels into the camp, which is a must do. The camp can also arrange for a 4x4 transfer into or out of the camp. After dinner the staff also put on a small music show around the fire. The tents are very nice and comfortable.

United StatesAmazing place to stay in the hearth of the Sahara desert. Our host, Zaid was really friendly and welcome us with the typical Moroccan tea after an one hour camel ride for getting to the camp . The meals were authentic and after the dinner we enjoy our time playing music and dancing by the bonfire. In the morning we saw the sunrise with an amazing view and did some sandboard. I recommend this camp if u want an unforgettable experience.

United StatesWhat an incredible luxury camp right in the middle of the Sahara Desert. The welcome area is beautiful with all of the Berber rugs and lovely traditional Moroccan touches. The rooms were very tastefully done, extremely comfortable and very big. The bathroom was also great. The staff were all very friendly, and a special thanks to Zaid whose service was brilliant! The traditional Berber entertainment (music, dancing and bonfire) in the evening was also great fun. We had organised a special dinner alone out on the sand dune nearby. Zaid ran circles around us with his great service. We were very grateful! Overall, an amazing and romantic camp, and I highly recommend choosing this camp for anyone's Sahara experience.

United KingdomSpending a night in the desert is an absolute must-do for any visit to Morocco. Even though the desert near Merzouga is smaller than the Western Sahara, the golden rust colour of the sand is simply staggering. We hopped on our camels for a one and a half hour trek into the desert at sunset. This allowed for some incredible photo opportunities and helped keep the temperatures cool. Once we reached our camp, the Toureg hosts were very hospitable and we had our own private tent. The chicken tagine served for supper was one of the best of our stay in Morocco and we ate and enjoyed conversation late into the night. At around 11pm, we headed out of camp into one of the dunes to sing songs around a fire under the stars. This was an absolute highlight of the trip and shows how music can transcend any language barrier. The camp is incredibly peaceful and had simple toilet and basin facilities. There was also a cold water shower available. Pack your own bottle of wine to enjoy over supper if you like. A once in a lifetime experience and a must-do!

United StatesEverything from the time of arrival till departure to FES. They came and picked us up at late evening. We were travelling from Marrakech to Merzouga by the Supra tours bus... Stayed 2 nights, did the day tour to visit the Nomads, the authentic Africans and did enjoy their music as well...The lunch at a restaurant was extremely tasty...Rode the camel in the evening at sunset to the camp. After dinner had a nice camp fire with some traditional music and dance.. Just climb up the dunes next to the camp to watch the breathtaking views of sun rising up the horizon and the golden dunes for amazing photographs....Excellent location for photographers. Special thanks to Zaid and all the staff who made this truly a memorable two days for us .

MoroccoSpending a night in the desert was definitely the highlight of our stay in Morocco. Also, we didn't regret our choice of camp for a second, the whole experience was wonderful! The camel ride to see the sunset, the plenty and delicious dinner / breakfast, the camp itself with the cats, the friendly host/staff, the camp fire with the singing and drums (and riddles :)) in the evening, the stars above us (!!!), the morning stroll across the dunes to see the sunrise... We wish we could have spent more time there... Don't miss this opportunity!

It was not comfortable at all. At first we were happy and in the end there was a very bad group and inappropriate behavior. We were forced to leave due to immoral scenes and we are a family with children.
