Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Czech RepublicAmazing place to stay in the hearth of the Sahara desert. Our host, Hassan was really friendly and welcome us with the typical marrocan tea after an one hour camel ride for getting to the hotel. The meals were authentic and after the dinner we enjoy our time playing music and dancing by the bonfire. In the morning we saw the sunrise with an amazing view and did some sandboard. I recommend this hotel if u want an unforgettable experience.

AustraliaThis was particularly fascinating. We arrived at the dessert camp at around 5:30 pm after driving through the dunes, and took a camel ride into the main dunes to watch a breathtaking sunset. Food and entertainment followed at the camp with our guide and hosts. NOTE - in February the desert temperatures can in fact be quite cold at night - lots of blankets are provided but be sure to take warm clothes, maybe even a warm hat! One of the highlights of the trip was the stunning view of the milky way in the pitch darkness of the desert - very memorable. I would recommend your magic camp as the best camp in the desert!

CanadaOur first time to Morocco and to the sahara desert, we chooses Your magic camp for the first night, the accommodation is very luxury and comfortable, the dinner was taste, berber rooms were clean and spacious, the wifi works good, The breakfast also was Moroccan original which was good meal. They took us by 4WD for the day trip visiting nomads behind sand dunes of erg chebbi desert, plus gnawa music and then lunch with Moroccan pizza, was one the best meals we had in Morocco! In the afternoon we ride the camels to spent the night in desert, our luxury camp was top, the tent was with private bathroom and cozy, Sunset and sand boarding in the dunes was nice experience, the dinner and berber music by the team was good fun, next morning we woke up for sunrise over sand dunes near the camp, beautiful views and quiet moment. after breakfast and hot shower we took back the 4WD instead of camels to get back to the hotel. It was life time experience to do as everything was great organized and easy going! Thank you for everything! We definitely back again!

ItalyITS A SCAM!! DON’T BOOK!! They lie that the camp is 18 km away from the village and you can’t reach by yourself. They will organise the ride witch is 4 x more than the price for one night (40€ back and forth). We booked camels for the next day but never got them. We paid 70€ for nothing and didn’t get money back. Please don’t support scammer on this platform!!

BelgiumUpon arrival at ‘the meeting point’ we were told the transportation to the camp was not included and could not get there by ourselves, this was not communicated anywhere on the booking page. So we had to take one of their modes of transportation. This caused frustration on our side on lack of communication. We decided to stay because we have been looking forward to stay in the desert for a long time. The owner asked us to cancel our booking ‘to recuperate 12euros of our booking as a compensation for the transport’. Since this was a strange proposition we decided to not cancel. This way we would have to opportunity give an honest review about the place to other travelers. Multiple times during our stay they asked us how we were going to review the place. In fact this place is a money grab. -no communication about transportation -transportation need to pay extra -dinner needed to pay extra and was not good -beds were very hard, only had one blanket and it gets incredably cold in the desert -unfriendly staff -only positive the toilets were clean The fact is they prompt travelers to cancel their booking to avoid bad reviews to keep making money and not providing value. If they have the feeling the will get a bad review they cancel our booking. Otherwise it is imposible to only get such positive reviews. We feel this is unethical and want to warn potential intrested people and booking.com about this place.
the toilets where clean

Netherlandshorrible mattresses, just 15’min ride from the village so not really the ‘Sahara sleepover’ feeling, besides it is one of the many many camps, so didn’t really had a special feeling to it.
