The riad is perfectly located with a beautiful view. A few minutes walk from the main medina streets, and a few minutes from the parking as well. The riad itself is much cuter in real than in the pictures. Rafeeq and crew were super hosts. They accompanied us to and from the parking. Gave us a quick overview of what to do, where to eat and the likes. They serve a cute breakfast as well, and do so with very warm smiles. Absolutely loved our stay here.

Not a negative but just a caution: the property sits towards the top of the hill so there will be some steps involved but as long as you don't have physical handicap or challenges, it's not bad at all. The positive of that is you also have a unique terrace view that very few around town do!

Incredible staff. Rafik is an terrific host and an all around wonderful person, you can tell right away. Despite the English language barrier (he speaks Spanish and Arabic), he showed us tremendous hospitality and made lots of recommendations for sightseeing, restaurants, cafes etc. He got laundry done for us when we asked (same day job) and even refused to charge us for it...of course we insisted and paid/tipped, but that was an incredibly heartwarming gesture. The breakfast views on the terrace every morning were great. The whole experience felt more like a homestay rather than a hotel, due to the cozy/homey feel of the place as well as the warm hospitality of Rafik and his colleague. You can approach them with anything and they seem eager to help and accommodate.

The following are not strictly complaints but observations that might help more fully inform someone. Chefchaouen is built on a hillside and Casa La Palma is near the top so there are lots and lots of steep steps. The location means you cannot go door to door by transport . You have to walk the narrows paths to get to the Casa. If you are fit it is okay, if you’re not the walk back from dinner can take a lot longer than Google Maps suggests. And there are more steps to get to the rooms inside. Also the facilities are homely, don’t expect modern luxury. We loved Casa La Palma but it may not be for everyone.

The room was spacious and clean and the view from the roof top terrace was stunning. The manager, Rafik, and his colleague were incredibly helpful and friendly and they went out of their way to assist.

Everything was fine. Maybe it could be a little cleaner.

The staff was really helpful and kind, they helped us carrying our luggage, which is not an easy task in Chefchauen :D sooo many steps... the Riad itself is lovely, nice comfy rooms, it was on the bigger side comparing with our other accomodations. They have a nice roof terrace with a nice view. Be avare, at winter it is cold! It was a really good value, highly recommending for everyone.

The wifi is not very strong, which is quite usual in Morocco. A kettle in the room would be a nice extra, but we could use the kitchen down to heat water for the baby

Cosy, lovely guesthouse! Great staff, thank you! Just 3 minutes walk from the parking and just 5 minutes walk to the centre. Great shower, very hot water and a lot pressure and enough for the 4 if us. Nice breakfast at the rooftop. Air conditioning (in our case for heating) They even gave us a baby bed for free. Very very clean! We would always come again. Thanks!

The decor was authentic. The rooftop view for breakfast was lovely. The hosts were very welcoming and went out of their way to assist us, even coming to meet us at the car park to help us Park and carry our luggage to and from the property. They also completed all the formalities as we arrived very late in the evening.

Neighborhood noise went late the first night, better the second night

Staff was very attentive and helpful. Met us at parking lot. Helped carry our bags at arrival and departure. No electricity first night. Rafiq, the manager was very apologetic. He scrambled to make things comfortable for us/. We had solar panel lights - fortunately not too cold. Just minor inconvenience, we had hot water. Power was back on next morning.

Wifi was weak and intermittent. Not a big deal since we weren't in the room very much.

Quiet location at the top of the medina. Relatively close to the Bab el Mahrouk gate/parking area. The hosts directed our driver there. They met us and helped to take our luggage to the riad. Repeated the process when we left. They were very helpful. We arrived about 7pm and were very tired after the long drive from Fes. They recommended a good restaurant relatively close by and even walked us there! Breakfast on the terrace was great! The terrace provides a great view of the town. Able to see many points of interest - the kasbah, Spanish Mosque and the Grand Mosque. Was a great way to plan our day.

People who work st the hotel are very supportive. They met us near the parking place outside the Medina, helped us to find the way to the hotel, helped us with luggage, gave us some tips on what to see in the town. The room was very comfortable. The breakfast on the terrace was delicious. And in the night we enjoyed the beautiful night city view from the hotel terrace. Definately recommend this place.

The host, Rafik, has got to be one the most kijd and warm people we met throughout our trip to Morocco. Although he only speaks Spanish (and my Spanish is limited), he continuously went the extra mile to make us feel home, showed us the way to a restaurant when we arrived late and accommodated to our every wish! -The view from the rooftop (where breakfast is served) is amazing. -Spacious rooms

We could hear kids playing in the streets, the occasional cat fight and the call to prayer in the room. With the fan on, it muted all of those enough to sleep great.

Location was great, and the breakfast was traditional Moroccan, but varied each day. It's on a steep hill with ramps and steps so you have to carry your bags or have the hotel meet you and carry them. The hosts spoke very little English which forced us to work on our Spanish and just resort to Google translate a couple of times. We were the only guests there so we had the entire rooftop patio to ourselves to enjoy breakfasts, sunsets at any time. The views up there are great.

Nothing about the guesthouse, but unfortunately the weather was not so good, so we could not enjoy the nice roof terrace that much. Better luck next time!

We had a wonderful time at Casa la Palma thanks to Rafik and Mohamed! The room is spacious and clean and the location is great, a bit on the quieter part of the medina and at the same time very close to all the beautiful things that Chefchaouen has to offer. The hosts were both super friendly and helpful when we needed anything. We would highly recommend this place, and definitely come back if we ever return to Chefchaouen!
