There was a very strong smell of urine in the room, like there was an open pissoir nearby. The room was comfortable and clean, byt the smell was very strong and gave me a sore throat and headache.

Soundproofing not very good so could be a bit noisy at night

Excellent value, staff were very nice and helpful. Good location if you want to be in the Medina, but a bit of a walk to the beach (about 15 minutes). Room was basic but quite large.

The bed was very hard probably not a problem if you are young and fit. I'm not. I'm sure staff would have helped make it more comfortable if I asked but I didn't. I would have liked some sun loungers on the terrace and a full length mirror but overall it was a great place to stay..

Great location easy to find. Light very clean and airy. Has a terrace. Breakfast was very good served until 11am. Staff were friendly very helpful and you could always find one. They spoke English. One young man took my bag down to the taxi rank with me when I was leaving and refused a tip. Highly recommended

I was travelling with my 78 year old mum and all the stairs were too much for her . This was my fault . I should have spotted this . The facilities are very old but in good working order .

I think the window to the room we stayed in needs to be fixed. It doesn't completely lock.

I visited with my children and we were received by Hussein and his other colleague. We enjoyed staying in Dar Halima. The room was very clean. Beddings were neat and super clean. The people in charge were efficient and welcoming. Our breakfast was served on time each day. We mostly liked the location since it is close to the beach and a walking distance to the city center. I recommend the facility to any one looking to visit Essaouira.

Location is perfect. Property is historic and beautiful. You feel like king at your own palace. All the staff members I dealt with were super friendly and always smiling. Yasir was the one who I saw everyday and he is a super nice guy. He is very honest too (when I was paying for the 6 euro tax in person with dirhams, he gave me the exact exchange rate. I felt instant trust for him). Don’t hesitate to book. You will feel really good for spending your money for such amazing people.

The bed was very very hard. There was no AC but during my stay it was not hot weather so I didn't even miss AC. Breakfast was a bit too small for me (tea/coffee, bread, 1 fried egg, olives, small fruit salad and orange juice).

Clean and cozy traditional style riad/dar in good location and friendly staff. Wifi and shower was good.

This dar is beautiful and homey. The room was nice and big and the whole place has a beachy vibe which was nice. It's perfectly located off the main street a few minutes from the main square and the beach. They gave us a dinner recommendation to a restaurant des reves which was absolutely delicious with a view and live traditional music. The staff at the dar was lovely, warm and welcoming, we also had a wonderful breakfast here.

Incredible spot very peaceful, beautiful Riad! Traditional layout and feel, birds chirping in the courtyard and rooftop terrace with a view of the ocean. In the medina but still very quite. Excellent breakfast, hot water, and very good Wi-Fi. Our best stay out of two weeks in Morocco!

Very nice ,nothing else to say ..i had a great stay....very good restaurant 10 meters away. With Beer Red Wine.....an very good Food. Bike rental 50 meters away.....go for it and ride along the coastline, beautiful lonely beaches are waiting to be discovered....
