Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SpainIt would be nice if there was a water dispenser with cold and hot water. Since there was any, the staff let me use their electric kettle to heat some water, which was kind from them.
It was in the middle of the Medina and it was super clean and the room spacious. The beds were very comfortable as well.

United StatesI'd recommend they add another set of dark curtains on the door for guests who would prefer to sleep without light. My main complaint would be the lack of hot water in the shower. I can't attest to whether the issue was caused by limescale in the faucet head or simply low water pressure, but the hotter the water got, which was good and hot for 20 minutes, the less pressure you got which I can't attribute to being environmentally conscious or an incapapbility to provide sufficient hot water. I’d also add that while the residence does give notice about closing the doors softly due to how loud the doors close, and I understand that the home may be classic and historic from a building standpoint, some rubber stoppers placed in the inner corners of doors would be much to the benefit of noise reduction in the house when entering/exiting the bed/bathrooms and the house itself. The main door needs a bit of a pull to close properly from the outside and that sound could be disturbing so to minimize that, I placed the aforementioned recommendations. Either way, those were the primary disappointments, I think the fixes will be quick and I wish Mr Salah the best of luck. Would return!
The house was nice and the room was comfortable, good location, welcoming host, and the like. A little more European in regards to wall art which is fine and gives it a clean look whereas the traditional Moroccan Islamic North African writing and decor is more to my taste when traveling here. Anyway very secure dual lock on both doors of my room and I appreciated the three bed suite however I found the third bed on right of the door to be excessively firm but I assume that may be to the taste of others. The other two were a nice medium but the pillows were a bit hard themselves and required fluffing to make comfortable but again, perhaps that’s to the liking of some. Warm at night, strong wifi, good windows for blocking noise.

BelgiumIn my room on the ground floor there was a bad smell of dampness or pipes. Unfortunately no window to the street, only a window facing the patio. So you have no choice than leaving everything closed for privacy and safety. But there are some other rooms with window at the streetside. WiFi reception was very poor in the room. I had to leave the door and window of the room open to get some coverage. Even my own mobile data, Inwi, barely worked in the room. I missed a mirror in the room. This can be useful for women and does not take much effort to install. No cupboard or rack provided. Everything must stay in the suitcase. Room was big enough though to place a cupboard.
I had a room on the ground floor. Clean and spacious room. Slept very well. House with only about 8 rooms, 4 floors with each two rooms. Two clean bathrooms, 3 toilets. Clean and suficient for the number of rooms. Friendly welcome. Location is very central near the main attractions. GPS coordinates: 34.0243604, -6.8371556, side alley of Rue Bencherki. Walk into the Rue Bencherki untill you see pink painted houses, it's in a side alley. I'll add some pictures of the street. Price quality is good.
