The place was very clean and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The host was very friendly and helpful, and it absolutely felt like staying in the home of a friend. The shower was also nicer than many others we experienced. The place was located at a good spot, not a lot of noice but still central, and the neighbours were also friendly and helpful.

My worst booking.com experience to date and the only negative review I’ve written. I booked for 3 nights and left after the 1st. The host got incredibly drunk and stayed up all night playing music, shouting, spitting, mumbling, smoking, taking phone calls and overall acting very emotional. As I was on the first floor I heard everything and did not sleep. As an Englishman I know an angry drunk so I did not want to confront him during the night. I don’t think the host is a bad person but this behaviour is unacceptable. I tried to contact the him the next day to resolve things but he claimed that I never showed up so I was unable to communicate further / leave a review. Only now since complaining have I been able to do so. This is a warning to future travellers. I saw a similar comment previously about his behaviour so it’s not the first time.

The cleaning lady was very sweet. The only positive.

No bins or TV in room. No soap in bathroom. Stairs narrow and hard to get luggage upstairs. Ad mentioned kettle in room which was untrue. Owner said that booking.com made that up. So ad was misleading. Noisy neighbours. The place was very hard to locate. No signposts, not even on the main door.

Very hard to find as no sign or address on the door. Zero wifi in the upstairs room. Staff do not answer the doorbell. Ended up waiting over an hour to be let in. If the door bell doesn’t work you need to pound on the door hard to get the managers attention. He seems to be always asleep. Very synthetic sheets

Good location. Locals are very helpful pointing out where the place is (not in a give me money way).

Some how to find the hotel signs would be appreciated but everybody knows Saleh the owner in the Riad.

In the very centre of medina though not noisy.Authentic building and a pleasant English speaking owner which is very rare in Rabat.Also very nice Arabic hotel maid.

I have no dislikes about the property, it is great value for money, clean and has a helpful and friendly host.

The property is decorated with traditional Moroccan furniture. it’s very clean and tidy with clean towels and bedding. The location is great and Salah’s hospitality is fantastic. We arrived to the property late and he came to meet us and direct us to the property. Salah walked us to a restaurant serving Moroccan food to locals at great prices. We only stayed for one night as we had a late flight but plan to stay here again when next in Rabat.

The owner is very friendly, i was working remote and he delivered me every day a delicious tajine. The Wi-Fi is good and u can find a kitchen included everything. The location is in the middle of the medina ,where u can find some good restaurants.

As the owner is relatively new to this hostel finding the place can be a bit daunting. Some street signs from the main street in the medina would not go astray.

The kitchen is wow. Access to a fridge/ freezer. The bathrooms are amazing. My bedroom was great with a full sized lounge right outside. The owner is so good. Amazingly decorative and so fresh/ clean. My stays are just getting better and better. Not to be missed in Rabat.

Salah is a great host! He goes out of his way to help; he showed me to the bank, and told me all the best places to visit. The room was perfect! You have to stay here if you visit Rabat! Right in the heart of the Old City.

this is not a Riad, but a Dar, so be prepared that you may not have the window to the outside. there is a fan in the room and windows to the inside of the building.

Everything was amazing!!! It was one of the best accomodations in my life! The host was very friendly and helpful, took care of guest’s comfortability. Everything was pretty clean. Definitely worths more stars than is possible to give.
