How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

There are private bathrooms but outside rooms. It's not a big problem but it should be mentioned in the description. Also, I haven't seen any information about payment in cash. Again, it wouldn't be a problem if mentioned in the description so a guest come prepared. The last thing, we had a room close to bathrooms so we heard people going to and back, taking a shower, etc. during the night.
Location in the centre of medina, close to main streets and in walkable distance from the Rabat Ville train station (also from AE bus stop going to/from airport). It's simple but authentic place with really nice and helpful staff. Rooms are basic but enough for short stay. Cheap and tasty breakfast is a big advantage.

Everything, it was perfect. We stayed in the Quadruple room with private bathtoom, the room and the bathroom were both clean and perfect. The Riad location is fantastic, we were 2 girls and felt completely safe. I really recommend it to anyone.

Very helpful and nice personal, warm welcome and great breakfast at the roof top. Centric, easy access. Clean and big rooms, very comfortable beds. Bathroom and toilet are assigned to each room although are not inside of the room.

Card payments are not acceptable. It wasn't clear for me from the description that a bathroom and toilet is outside of a room even though formally they are private. Lack of space in the bathroom.
Polite staff, excellent location in the medina - easy to find. I was offered with breakfast even though it wasn't in the listing. Pleasant terrace, spacious room.

Absolutely Beautiful Riad gorgeous aesthetic clean spacious comfortable room. Friendly staff we were treated like family. On the day we arrived we decided to go in tower hassan which was simply exquisite. A delicious breakfast was served on the rooftop every morning including yummy fresh orange juice and good coffee. Our host Hicham made our stay perfect location close to everything and once you know where it is it's easy to find

This Riad was one of the most beautiful places on our Morocco trip. Mr. Hicham helped us in everything and always welcomed us with a smile. Even though it was very early in the morning, our room was ready. The interior architecture of the Riad and the breakfast presentations made us feel like we were in Morocco and we had fun. Thank you very much for everything. If you go to Rabat, we definitely recommend you to stay at this Riad.

Take note that although the bathroom is private it is not ensuite and you must walk around the courtyard to access it.
Super hospitable staff. They went out of their way to ensure our stay was enjoyable, inquiring daily if there was anything we needed. Breakfast, one of the best we had in Morocco, is served on the lovely rooftop terrace. A delicious selection of choices, including fresh fruit and freshly squeezed orange juice. It is newly opened and everything is beautifully painted and spotlessly clean. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Great location. Just a few minutes walk to the major sites.

Everything was amazing, from the service to the facitities. The staff is extremely polite and hospitable, we really enjoyed our stay! So far the best experience in Morocco, totally recommend!

We paid for a private bathroom but we actually got a lockable shower cubicle in a shared bathroom and a shared sink in the hallway

The bathroom and toilet wasn't in the room. It was separate, along the hallway. And the room itself wasn't very secure.
The staff were accommodating and friendly, and gave us tea and cookies when we arrived. Check in was quick and easy.

Can be quite noisy depending on the other hosts: all rooms are giving on the same patio. Showers are not in the room.
The personal is very kind, it is quite near the Kasbah, in the Medina and is well situated for people who are looking to travel at minimal cost.

They offer "private bathroom" which is not 100% true as the bathrooms are outside the room and you have to walk to the opposite of the hall, anyone can use the bathroom. The bathroom did not have lock and it was very small. It was disappointing The location is in the middle of the medina but it did not feel safe to get there at night
