Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Portugalthe breakfast was not one of the best we had in Marokko but also it was Ramadan so not sure if that had to do with it. But as I said when my kids asked for an extra they ran out to get it for us.
this is a marvelous little hotel. beautiful inner patio to relax after a busy visit to the Medina just outside the door. the stuff is incredibly friendly - very helpful guiding us through the Medina in the rain, running to buy nutella when my kids asked for it! the rooms have a very special flair. we staid in one of the rooms on the ground floor - just an experience on its own.

A very quaint little riad in the middle of the médina. Beautifully decorated rooms, good breakfast and very friendly staff. Hannah and her colleagues will help you with anything. They took me to the local TRADITIONAL hammam. A MUST do for a cultural expérience.

This is the best place to stay in Tetouan! What a work of art the interior design is. The staff were absolutely gorgeous and went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed. Bed super comfortable, breakfast-local and delicious. The room spacious and clean. The location of this riad too is perfect. Right in the medina where you want to be. The experience we had in Tetouan overall was a dream. A little secret of Morocco I think.

Netherlandseverything was perfect!
There are no words that can describe how well received we were at this riad. The employees did everything they could to ensure we could make the most of the location. Even though it was the month of Ramadan, they did everything possible to make our stay unforgettable. They were also a valuable help for us to guide us in relation to trading hours during this month. Regarding breakfast: fabulous! I recommend having breakfast on the terrace.

SingaporeIt was a bit hard to find. Somehow Google doesn't know this area well. There are a few turns google might got it wrong.
Breakfast was good, standard Moroccan breakfast. The host was kind and helpful. Location was pretty good. Close to the Medina and in a quite small alley.

United StatesThe staff at Dar Fama were very friendly and went out of their way to make you feel comfortable. They walked me to the Palacio Royal area several times until I was confident I knew the way even though it's just a few minutes away! It is a convenient location and the overall vibe is low key.

AustraliaIt’s a shame whoever decorated the place chose to put art deco light shades in a very traditional Marocco Riad especially as the traditional lighting choices here are stunning. The clashing floral of the upholstery with the tiles was unforgettable and unfortunate. However the photos on the website already indicated clearly how ugly the lobby decor is.
The staff were wonderful and helpful and guided us through the city when we first arrived. We asked to change rooms from the junior suite which has a bed up steep little stairs and they were wonderfully accommodating and moved us immediately to another comfortable room. It’s easy walking distance through the Medina and accessible to cafes shops and restaurants and historic sights.Highly recommend visiting the Loukach mosque which contains a fantastic museum of Islamic history and only cost 10 MAD to visit Breakfast was served every day but surprisingly no eggs in any form on offer which is rare for Morocco

Dar Fama is a great place to stay in Tetuan for a family with kids. We were treated very nice by the staff. Breakfast was good. The staff were willing to show us around Tetuan. And their advice was very helpful. Location is very central. In the middle of the old town, and market is all around. Highly recommended. We had breakfast on the terrace on top of the hotel. Magnificent views.

AustraliaWe would've liked a small fridge (it wasn't part of the room description, but would improve a stay) or water bottles to be supplied. The room design makes the most of the small space available, but could be tricky with 4 adults (we were 2 + 2).. Some more inviting furniture would've made us want to enjoy the roof more
The staff at the Dar were lovely and helpful. The medina location was a highlight of our trip to Northern Morocco. We found the breakfast more than adequate with fresh fruit, pastries, breads, spreads, cheese, olives, juice and hot drinks. The markets are located on your doorstep and a short walk from Bab Okla are some good food options. The bathroom products were very nice. There is a good view of the mountains from the rooftop

ItalyRiad Dar Fama is situated in the very heart of the Medina of Tétouan. Its traditional and colorful interiors immediately immerse you in the essence of Morocco. The rooms are very clean and beautifully decorated. Breakfast is delicious, featuring yogurt, fresh fruits, pastries, juice, and a choice of tea or coffee. From the terrace, one can admire the city of Tétouan with its rooftops, houses, and narrow streets. The staff is exceptional and very helpful. There is parking close to the Riad, which is very convenient when traveling by car. Highly recommended for your stay!
