Apart from being overall good, it also had a hairdryer on the room, an air conditioner and extra comfy blankets if needed. Also the shower was in an enclosed glass panel, so no cold plastic curtains wafted over you. The host also speaks fluent English

None, everything was perfect.

Simply the best accommodation I have stayed during my trip in Morocco! It really feels like staying at home. Everything was perfectly organized in the house and it is super clean, absolutely dust free. Oussama is a very friendly host and helped me with all the questions I have. The room is very spacious and the bed is very comfortable. I wish I could stay for more nights! Definitely I would like to stay here again if I return to Fes and recommend this to my family and friends.

The road near the dar isn't very clean.

The terrace is beautiful. Oussama is really nice and welcoming. Also the room is really spacious and nice. Breakfast was really good, even with a pain au chocolat. Moreover, it's really close to a parking.

Dar Hayati is an authentic place, very well restored with comfortable rooms and a nice terrace and a view of the city. Breakfast was delicious and more than enough, and Ousama was very helpful making arrangements. We really enjoyed our stay.

The decor was authentic and artwork and artefacts were well displayed. Attention to detail in the room was appreciated; everything from hair dryer to extra rolls of toilet paper, shelving in bathroom for toiletries, decent hangers and great water pressure. Our host was easy to chat with and ver professional. Upstairs terrace gave a real panoramic view and the furniture was comfortable.

Dar Hayati is a beautiful place to stay. We only had one night here, but wished we had booked more! Our room was spacious and comfortable; the air-con worked very well. We booked the room with a separate bathroom, but this was still private to us and just a short distance from our room, so didn't feel like we were missing out on an ensuite at all. We loved the roof-terrace, which was spacious and has a nice shaded area which catches the breeze. The hosts were welcoming and very accommodating, providing us with a small early breakfast before leaving (as we had to leave at 8am) as well as a packed breakfast to take with us! We'd definitely recommend.

We absolutely loved staying in Oussama and Cecilia’s place - they are incredibly welcoming and have made Dar Hayati a relaxing oasis in busy Fes! It is decorated beautifully and in a great location in the Medina. Our room was extremely clean and comfortable - great that there is AC. The terrace is the perfect place to relax and play games after a long day of exploring the Medina - what a stunning view! We had dinner at Dar Hayati which was delicious and had our washing done too which we received perfectly folded. We will recommend Dar Hayati to everyone of our friends who come to Fes. Such amazing value for money . One of the best you’ll have in Fes. So clean and the staff are more like friends you can sit and chat to and tell stories with which is good for travellers because riads themselves aren’t usually very social. You will say WOW as soon as you enter and the view from the rooftop is a perfect escape . It’s in the edge of the medina so you can escape easily instead of walking through. The area was safe even at night, people just sit around and say hi . We could’ve stayed in the property for a while. Considering the price you’ll walk away very satisfied. The best restaurant in morocco which is also so cheap is a one min walk away so you don’t have to stress about where you’re going to eat . I would stay again . Amazing price and little hassle

The stay was really comfortable with a tasty breakfast and clean room. the location is perfect - quiet and close to the medina. And, most importantly, great service from Oussama, Khalid and family to make us feel really welcomed.

The shower was slow draining in our room, but everything else perfect.

Ideal location, only 3 mins walk into the Medina from the Ain Zleten carpark so very easy to carry your bags in and well signposted - we saw many poor tourists lugging around their baggage in the thick of the Medina which looked like tough work! Big and spacious room, beautifully decorated interior, amazing rooftop terrace to listen to the adhan from in the evenings. Most importantly, the family running the riad is incredibly warm and welcoming and we thoroughly enjoyed getting to know them.
