Great location inside city walls, not far from a gate

We did not have ensuite rooms, but we had both rooms on the second floor and shared the facilities between them. At the last minute we weren't fussy and it worked out fine.

When airline problems made us a day late, these folks were last minute choices and we were very pleased. It is a family operation so we met them, and despite no shared language, the mom and I had a few laughs together. They are warm and very welcoming, the son manages the desk and speaks English. This is not an upscale riad, but a basic and clean place to stay. The roof deck was lovely (see pics of enclosed deck and beautiful view)

The hotel doesn't have AC or Fan. Sometime its feel very suffocating.

The location is in the heart of Medina and the hosts are very welcoming and friendly. There are many restaurants and stores around the hotel.

Extremely nice hosts [family-run business], always ready to help and advise on best ways of exploring Tanger. We were treated as family members.

Perfect location right in the middle of the Medina.. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Good value for money and the breakfast was nice up on the roof with good views of the city.

Better directions on booking to find the Dar would be great, but our taxi called reception and they met us and walked us to the place, so it was ok.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. The rooms themselves are basic, shared bathroom with 1 other room on our floor which was NO issue at all. However, the service was absolutely incredible. The staff are amazing, caring, generous and helpful. I was completely blown away by the hospitality here! I have stayed in so many hotels, b&b, riad and this was 100% the best service I have ever received. You cannot go wrong with this place!

Very nice staff and great location of the Riad.

Compared to other Riads, this one is quite simple with a very small inner yard and not much green. The toilet/showers were shared among all guests and the hosts. They were clean and sharing worked quite well though.

The hosts are super nice. Even though we hardly understood each other (poor Spanish skills on our side, poor French/English skills on their side), we felt really welcome. The location of the Riad in the centre of the old Medina and close to Place Continental (easily reachable by Taxi) is great.

The pricing they show on booking is per person, so it was very high for 3 of us in this terrible dump. We would have left soon as we saw the room if it was not pre-paid. Terrible and poor quality furniture, mattresses were a nightmare to sleep on (either unbelievably hard or were heavily sinking in), and there was no where else to really sit either except a cheap office chair. Charging ports were put in the most uncomfortable places far from the bed. The room was very very tiny (we measured 18 square meters) and had no AC. We had to ask for a fan when we checked in and they brought it to us. There was quite literally old junk in the room, other for 2 beds, a chair, a table, two beside tables places strangely and a coat rack. There was a shared bathroom which smelt like sewage occasionally. There was no soap or toiletries for us to use and the shower was dirty. When I asked for soap the son came to ask me if he should go to the store to buy us soap bars (honestly I am not making this up). The room was also dirty from carpets to stains on the walls. The roof top had cheap plastic furniture (tables and chairs) and was not pleasant to eat on. The style of the whole house did not match, nothing was traditional or cultural in the room or bathroom or else where. Sat on a couch in the entrance of the place and was covered with dog hair afterwards, again no hygiene or cleanliness. Didn't offer us breakfast on the last day knowing it was our last day even after we called for them. Very terrible stay!!! The photos below tells the story of this Hostel. Last day we were leaving at 8:00 AM and we looked for the owner to get a cup of coffee, called for them but no reply from anyone. Anyways nothing missed when you see the photo below of the kitchen they use to prepare the BKFST for the guests. This photo was taken at 7:28AM the day we were leaving. Note the milk box left out all night. Booking needs to inspect this hostel to correct its false description of the facility.

dar mora, is not a Riad. It is more like 1 to 2 star hostel. It is well located in the medina and the hosts are very kind. This is a 3 story home converted into rooms for rent with shared bathrooms. Mr. Mohamed the owner is helpful however they don’t have much to work it and his wife does not speak English, French or Arabic (I do speak all these 3 languages) so no way to communicate with her!! They did let us use their washing machine so which helpful.

This guest house is in an exceptionally great location and is absolutely charming, clean and full of character. But the best thing is the warm hospitality of the owner and his family who attend to your every need and anticipate your wants. They are the best hosts in the world and they make the best Moroccan tea I've ever had. Highly highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking an authentic experience in old Medina. Can't recommend it highly enough. Thank you Dar More for an unforgettable stay ❤️ 🙏 💕

Good value but difficult to find wifi doesn’t work in Medina. Old town. Owners need to post a clear map of how to get there and away. Bit of noise renovating when I got there. It was fine for my five nights there . Family run . Lovely people. Can speak English , French and Arabic .
