The dinner menu price was high for the quantity of food we got and water wasn´t included, there wasn´t an option to choose dishes. Food was tasty but you can get better for less money just walking 3 minutes away from the hotel as we did for lunch. We chose to have dinner here for the view, but it was very windy after sunset and everyone had to go inside the restaurant.

Accommodation with the best view of Ait Ben Haddou from their terrace and perfect location. Historic traditional building with impressive architecture. Really nice pool that we didn´t have time to enjoy. Very good breakfast with the impressive views of the town and surroundings.

The hotel Was very understaffed, so the concierge were also needed to serve meals. They were overstretched and were not able to provide prompt service. They were however very gracious and helpful. The wifi does not work in most rooms due to the thick mud earth walls.

Dar Mouna is in great location with views to the historic ksar or kasbah from both the room and the excellent terrace. It is a traditional compressed earth building and very well insulated and cool. There was air conditioning if required and a pool. Staff were friendly .

My brother and nephew found the absence of a shower curtain in their bathroom led to the bathroom getting rather wet but this wasn't a problem in my room and really wasn't a big deal.

I chose the hotel on the basis of its location and was not disappointed. It is a very short walk from the Ksars of Ait Ben Haddou - there is even a back door to the property that shortens the walk further. Even better, the back terrace has a fabulous view of the Ksars which are wonderful while having breakfast. My room faced the same way and had a great view too. Rooms were comfortable and done out in local style.

Yassine is a great host. If you visit ait benhaddou, you should definitely spend one night here. They serve a Moroccon dinner and after you have visited the kasbah, you can enjoy the pool and fabulous view from the terrace.

There was a bit of outside noise at night. It wasn't terribly loud, but I could hear voices a few times fairly late. I do think this is probably a common issue in the Medina because of how small the streets are. And it when the AC was running it pretty much solved the problem. Would definitely stay there again!

The breakfast was very generous and delicious. The staff were very helpful and friendly and answered all of our needs in a timely matter. We enjoyed the location and the ambiance of the Riad very much.

What a beautiful location, set with a perfect view of ait benhadou, this Berber designed hotel is one of the most gorgeous places I have stayed in. The staff greeted us so kindly and went above and beyond to help us with our travels... Even using contacts to help us get on a local bus.

Dar Mouna is a charming guest house converted from a historical family home. It is made from the traditional compressed mud construction, providing a unique lodging experience and insight into the history of the area. It is nicely decorated with local crafts, and the owners and staff are friendly and attentive. It has some of the best views of the Ait Benhaddou Kasbah across the river, and is a short walk (7-8 minutes) to the kasbah entrance. I enjoyed watching the sunrise and sunset over the old kasbah from the pool deck–absolutely stunning!

payment had to be done in cash even though everything was reserved via booking and CC authorization was given. EUR/MAD exchange rate was not very good - better bring sufficient MAD. prices for dinner rather high.
