We have big suitcases and needed to lug them up and down to taxis at each end. This would have been solved by following the clear instructions on arrival. Taxis will not drive up the hill while the market is going

Dar Yakout is located right inside the blue city. The staff were wonderful. The room, though a little small was clean, well appointed and great value for money. The breakfast of juice, tea or coffee, breads, eggs and pastries was HUGE. I dare you to eat it all!

In the middle of the blue city. Very comfortable. Good instructions to get there and where to park the car. There were people to help with the luggage (for a fee of course) and you will need it cos it’s steep going down and steep uphill going to the carpark.

The access was difficult, especially as we had 2 elderly people with us .It could be useful to have a golf buggy or something similar to transport people from the parking to the dar and the the whole way was a steep climb.

The staff here is incredibly friendly and welcoming. They made us feel so comfortable Aymane shared ideas for things to see and places to go and was very helpful with any questions. The staff always greeted us with big, warm smiles every morning and evening when we returned from our adventures. We would highly recommend Dar Yakout to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable and great location in the Medina.

Are room was small and it was in the very front right next to the reception area, so it was a bit noisy. I think we were in the least expensive and smallest room in the place.

We had a fantastic 2 nights stay in this picturesque riad in a great location of Chefchaouen. Our room was very peaceful. The views from the terrace were phenomenal and the breakfasts were divine. On top of all of this, one of the highlights of our stay was meeting staff member Ayman whose service was absolutely exceptional. He was so helpful in helping out some issues we were having us with our TV; helping us plan the best route to Akchour falls (also recommend); and even took us after his shift to show a good barbers to get a haircut - we couldn’t have been happier with his service and are very grateful - Thank you Ayman and Dar Yakout too!

Friendly and welcoming staff. The staff recommended us nice food in Chefchaouen and help us book a taxi to Tangier. Also, The room are spacious and clean. The location is near to the square. We love to stay on this Riad and nice view from the rooftop terrace. Definitely will stay here again!!!

Bathroom was a little on the small side but more than adequate for what's required in a bathroom.

Had a fabulous stay at this Riad. There was a tiny glitch with our room when checking in, but it was dealt with quickly and professionally. The room was lovely and spacious, and we were right in the Medina, although it was very well signed and very easy to find. Breakfast was simple, a little bread heavy for my taste, but my husband enjoyed it. Staff were kind and very helpful. Would totally recommend this place to stay.
