This hotel is most definetly the best I've ever visited. Local, wonderful building, clean and most of all- a wonderful staff! Also, I forgot my phone it in the taxi when I arrived to Rabat. There and then I thought that it would be impossible for me to get my phone back with my Credit card and travel documents. The staff took good care of my calming me down and they solved the issue with me and they managed to get my phone back. I'll be forever grateful to Hotel Dar Yanis. I want to visit that lovely hotel again in the future!

Good location in medina, 15 minutes walk from Rabat station, reasonably easy to find, friendly people, breakfast OK, nice room with aspect onto central courtyard, small rooftop terrace, very secure (doorbell entry), room cleaned daily.

Only thing I didn’t like was having to ring the doorbell everything to come in.

I loved the authentic feel. It’s close to everything very walkable location. The roof top terrace and better yet I loved having the room up there away from all the others. It felt very secluded, like my little home away from home.

They messaged me asking for an additional charge for an extra bed, which I missed, which felt a bit too expensive. But that was partly my mistake, I should have declined it.

Location was in the middle of medina, which made it close to all places. We checked in late and they were accommodative of it. We were able to drop off the luggage for the day.

Amazing experience in this riad. The staff was very welcoming, carried our luggage upstairs and gave us recommendations on where to eat dinner (we listened to them and we loved the food!!) Location is great in the medina, close to pretty much everything by foot. On the day we checked out, they made us leave our luggage and when we came back to collect it, they even made us tea and told us we could relax and watch tv in the common living room if we wanted to. Amazing welcoming people in Rabat.

The terrace didn’t have a sea view - but it was only a 5 minute walk so I could take photographs.

Eddie and all the staff were fantastic! They went out of their way to make us very welcome indeed. We had great conversations, and we had fun with them. Breakfast was also great - I really couldn’t eat it all. The room was very clean & just perfect.

There is just a small problem with humidity from the bathroom but it does not bother us too much.

We had such a lovely stay in Rabat thanks to Riad Dar Yannis. We had a very warm welcome after a "bumpy" ride from the airport. The staff welcomed us with traditional Moroccan mint tea and helped us with our luggage to go up to our rooms. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the breakfast is plentiful and delicious! All in all, we really loved our stay and we would love to come back there one day!

The Terrasse was very nice and also the rooms had space, I really loved the location and the facilities were clean. For breakfast we had traditional Moroccan food. The WiFi was good, the staff was very nice (shoutout to naima and Adil)

Although I come from same warm freindly people culture, I am amazed to see the true warm hearts of people especially the employee Adil ' the Tea Master' who loves Bollywood and Shahrukh Khan LOL ;) I am amazed how truely the people are so kind & Compassionate to others while all we see in Western media is bad image of people country & culture. Morrokko Is also Super Safe. Even for Solo Travellers. Morrocco is like my home and I will definately go there and meet my Bollywood Fan friend Adil "the Tea Master" in Dar Yanis

Pleasant stay. Great location near many shops & eateries. The alleyway it’s on was quiet & charming. Breakfast was good. All staff were kind but Adil & Sophia were exceptionally sweet with our baby. Street parking is a bit far from the Raid but cheap. Room was clean however when we checked in there were ants in the bed & on the walls. The ant situation got even worse when we pulled out our snacks. We brought our concern to the attention of staff and they immediately cleaned the room & offered keep our snacks in the kitchen which helped. Overall, good value for the price.

A little more variety for breakfast would have been appreciated- maybe eggs some day?

The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. This Riad has all the Moroccan charm and tradition that one desires. The location is great as you can walk everywhere in Rabat (old city). Taxi drivers are all on meters so fewer scammers in Rabat and the market display prices of merchandise!
