Seeing as it is a new hotel that is just getting started in the area, at the time of this review, the selection of water sports equipment is still limited, which can become an issue if you are a larger group looking to rent equipment. This, I believe, is likely to change in the future.

The staff were very friendly, attentive and responsive in all matters. The food was especially delicious and varied, and special diets were taken into account. The room was tidied up every day. The restaurant/bar is probably one of the best features of the place - the area is spacious, with plenty of natural light. One can watch the sun rise (or set) through the large glass windows and there is a direct view over the lagoon. The proximity to water is very convenient, with uncomplicated access if you wish to go for a swim or launch a kite across the road from the property. The hotel is also very peaceful, which is perfect if you are looking for a relaxing atmosphere. Good value for money overall.

The bed and pillows could be a bit more comfy. Curtains in the rooms would be nice.

Very friendly staff. Helpful and understanding when I needed to check out earlier than planned. Nice atmosphere in the common room, friendly other guests and community. Very good food served, with varying dishes everyday. Free airport service. Everything was maintained clean.

•the electricity went out when we were in the middle of the night in our tent they explained later that due to the sun power solar panels needs to recharge again and also they have fixed a specific time at night ( arround 2-3 in the morning ) to shut it off •keep in mind that the bathrooms and showers are not in the room they are seperate from it

Amazing lovation for people who love the aquatic sports Right in front of the hotel a flat beach were you can enjoy the view and also have lots of fun rather doing Kite surf or jet ski or even a normal walk (it gets so wendy by the day but it's all good.. it's a part of the whole experience)

The facilities for kitesurfing equipment and the security. The food: 7 lunch and 7 dinner with no duplicated food. All of them made with dedication. The offer us to The attention of the staff: they always offered us help for whatever we needed.

Nothing, everything was great

The whole stay has been completly amazing, the owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. Its a short walk to the Lagoon for kiting. They have an excellent Chef, the food is delicious and varied. The Views to the Lagoon are amazing. I will definately return here as its been one of my best stays overall.

Nothing. Everything is excellent.

I had a lovely 9 day stay at Desert Sands and I couldn't be any happier. The camp is situated within a walking distance from the kite lagoon and it has everything what a kite surfer might need: big storage, cozy and spacious common spaces with a bar, great vibe, beautiful views on the lagoon, simple but nice and clean rooms. I was particularly touched by genuine kindness and hospitality of all the staff and owner. They really go an extra mile to make you enjoy your stay. But the cherry on the cake is the food. Fresh and delicious prepared daily by a chef who in my view must have previously worked in a Michelin starred restaurant ;-). Also the prices are very correct for what you get in return. Looking forward to returning asap. P.s. take a furnished tent as I did. Surprisingly they are cool during the day and keep well the warmth at night. And to sleep in one feels like being on a desert adventure. Shukram guys and see you soon!

If many people are showering at the same time, the showers might run out of hot water, but as a newly opened facility this should be fixed soon.

Everything was great, brand new and clean. The common space is super welcoming and stylish. Loved the decoration and the views to the lagoon. All the staff were very attentive and friendly, but for me the highlight was the food, absolutely delicious!!!

Bathroom outside the room, no wifi in the room.

The hotel is only 5 mths old and, hence, only in the beginning. the main hotel facility is new, modern and very nice. the rooms, on the other hand, are somewhat basic. which is ok but the there was no wifi in the room, bathrooms where about 30m away, the power went out sometimes at night until 8am in the morning. the staff is very, very nice and tries to help. if you don't speak french it's a bit complicated. the food was really nice and healthy and varied. the hotel is within walking distance to the lagoon and another major hotel - the Energy - which has a nice bar setting. :) I believe if they keep investing and adding some more of those big modern tents w/ included bathrooms, closer to the main facility this'll be a very nice option for the lagoon.
