Well, booked room 8, WiFi is pretty slow, 1-2 lines of WiFi, and the 2 lines would've been if I would've stood the opposite way of the bed. Sadly I didn't realised that the chairs from outside were wet, and I sat on it (they are made of foam). Not their fault tho. Also, if you book more than 2 nights, (does this every day, doesn't matter if you book 2 nights or more) you should know that the lady comes in the room and cleans it, nothing against that, but at least should've said so. I don't know if any of you care about this, but the light from the bed, is way more stronger than the one from the ceiling, which was surprising for me, because I was not expecting that. Ah, and there is one more thing about the location, at night, it's kinda sketchy around the streets, because not so many lights, but you'll get around easy.

The location of the place is good, 10 minutes walk to Grand Socco, to make an approximation. View is nice, and for the money is worth it. For the price you pay, it's deserved. I mean, I booked something similar at price in Wien, and it was awful. Women who takes care of the place, doesn't speak English, but does the best to understand.

Reception hours were a bit limited but communication via the booking.com app was very effective.

This hotel is basically "you get what you pay for"; it's quite cheap and therefore if you don't expect much (eg no bottled water in the room) you'll be fine. There's a nice bar (Tanger Inn) in the same building and the Rooftop area is also good with an excellent view over Tangier Harbour. Although the general location is great (very near the old historic part of town), the hotel itself is on a bit of an uneven hill which taxi drivers don't seem to like much and also with homeless people occasionally camping out at night nearby.

Window overlooks a shared roof terrace, although it wasn't a problem during my stay. Location was a bit rough but was still safe

I had a room first floor and it sounded like the second floor was jumping on my head the whole night. Didn't hear the city or noise from the street, just the noise from upstairs which was annoying and loud

The hotel is nice, the staff is friendly but you can't expect European standards though. Unlike described on the website they didn't speak English. Check in still worked good. I chose the hotel because of the roof terrace which is really cool when you're traveling alone so you can just spend the evening there looking over the ocean and harbour. Also the hotel is just 15 min walk from the starting point and ticket office from the Hop on Hop off Bus ~12€ which I can really recommend to get around. And in general the hotel is just 5 min from a big marjane supermarket and 1 min from two main streets

The area is a bit sketchy but if you walk a block or two, it's a busy area with restaurants and you'll be ok.

We decided to stay in El Muniria purely to experience the spirit of William S. Burroughs and recapture the residue of his iconic stay in this obscure hotel where he wrote "Naked Lunch." The experience felt very surreal and inspiring. Something about the place gives that raw oddball magic one would want to experience staying in such a historic space without it being overly gentrified for profit, which it isn't at all. Let's just say it was a huge vibe.

The literary connection but aside it’s cheap and convenient and perfunctory. My room was clean quiet and nice window view. Shower and toilet outside clean and working. Didn’t have any noise from downstairs bar at all unless it’s not open mid week. Really not far from main boulevard with all the shops.

The room wasn't super clean, there was hair on the floor, and the vanity table was a bit dusty.

The hotel is in a great location, it's close to the beach, old town supermarket and, mall. The room has a nice view of the sea and is well ventilated thanks to two windows which keeps it cool at night. The shower has hot water. The lady at the reception is sweet.

The sea view from the room and the bed was comfy.(the room looks the same as the picture uploaded) Plus the shared bathroom was very clean each time. The location is close to commodities and the beach.
