The dorm was quite noisy as you can hear everyone talking in the lobby. Also, bathrooms could be cleaner. It’s rated quite high but it didn’t feel that different for me compared to a lot of other hostels I’ve been.

Hostel wasn’t that special but overall things worked well. They had lockers and even a smaller one for valuables. Breakfast was nice, especially liked the fresh fruits. They offer a lot of excursions and curtains in beds give some privacy.

Dorm rooms have no ventilation apart from windows that back on to communal space, noisy all day and all night. Staff a little slow on check out and think I was over charged.

The communal toilets were not really clean, which is strange because the rooms were perfect.

The atmosphere is really nice, the staff is kind and helpful. Free luggage storage and they even let us shower when we went to retrieve the luggage. As a plus, the breakfast is super rich!

This was my 2nd time but only for one night as I had to travel on. The breakfast was great as before. I had not asked for a bottom bed but they keep a system and that was in the system so I was surprised and got the bottom bed ;-)

While my stay was mostly impeccable, I must mention that the toilet could have been a tad cleaner. It smelled bad, especially at night.

My two-night stay at Essaouira Beach Hostel was a true gem. Let me begin by raving about the scrumptious breakfast served each morning—a delightful treat to kickstart the day. The staff were not only friendly but went out of their way to ensure my comfort throughout my stay. The real standout feature of this hostel? The absolutely stunning rooftop terrace, offering panoramic views of the sun setting over the horizon. It provided the perfect setting to unwind and soak in the beauty of Essaouira. And the location? Simply unbeatable! Just a leisurely two-minute stroll from the beach, it couldn't have been more convenient for beach enthusiasts like myself. While my stay was mostly impeccable, I must mention that the toilet could have been a tad cleaner. Nevertheless, it didn't overshadow the wonderful experience I had. In summary, Essaouira Beach Hostel is a hidden oasis offering warm hospitality, mesmerizing sunsets, and a prime location by the beach. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking to make the most of their time in Essaouira.

I didn't like the showers on the ground floor, very little privacy.

I at first didn't like the idea of 12 in the dorm but it was no problem, the curtains around the bed are great, loved the breakfast and as I cook the kitchen was very well equipped even an oven.

Nothing it was really good, but I also had a great bottom bunk near window. The rooms have too many beds — take 2 out at least and put in a bench or clothes rack or or or….. something to have some space.

Beds were comfortable. Curtain for privacy, Friday night dinner and breakfast included. Access to kitchen to cook. Rooftop terrace. For the price and location I highly recommend. The lounge area is also amazing to meet people. Lots of toilet paper and daily cleaning of room.

The bathrooms could have been a bit cleaner but it's a hostel so it's what I expected. If you're in the downstairs dorm, it will be quite loud and opens onto the main area.

Loved the social atmosphere of this hostel and all the activities offered by the hostel -- the dinners and breakfasts were incredibly social and quite yummy. The terrace has tons of room and an incredible view of the sunset right on the water. I highly recommend staying at this hostel if you're looking to make friends or have a social atmosphere!

The bathroom facilities weren’t great - there aren’t enough for the ground floor rooms and the floors were always wet and dirty. The showers were often broken in one way or another which was frustrating also, however the water was at least hot!

Had a really fun time at this hostel due to the people I met and the incredible rooftop. It’s such a great place to hang out and has really relaxed vibes. The blackout curtains for each bed were also great.

Brekkie was fab plenty of variety and all you want. Wifi great. Bed's with real black out curtains and very warm and comfy. Hot water in showers. Place to hang and dry clothes. Free couscous veg/chicken meal with local music on Friday night. Dorms had good sized locker

The breakfast was so abundant I could not believe my eyes - the best I had in Marocco, better than fancy Riads. Plus, the terrace view is nice and the location is perfect if you search for a surfing etc. However, the male room was not too clean and quite smelly. Perhaps, it is the guests' fault, independent from the staff, but yeah that it was:)

Number of bathrooms per beds seems a little low but perhaps normal for Morocco. Shower not always hot.

Wonderful location : a few metres from the beach, 10 min walk from Medina & 100 metres from good value eateries Terrace with amazing views of the beach and sunset. V good buffet breakfast. Cleaned daily. Excellent staff always friendly, helpful & kind especially when I was ill, even making me free hot herbal drinks. Great Wifi on ground floor and terrace communal area, no problem uploading hi res photo's (in my room not so good) Free Cous Cous and live entertainment every Friday. Solid and comfy bunk beds with black out curtain. I booked 2 weeks initially but stayed most of the winter! Met many people who keep coming back to this place.
